Treat Behavior Disorders With Nutrition!
//www.ihealthtube.com Dr. William Walsh is an expert in nutrition and behavior disorders. He states that many disorders stem from nutritional deficiencies.
One of the most striking discoveries that William J. Walsh, Ph.D., of Walsh
Research Institute found was that more than 70% of people with behavioral
and mental disorders have a methylation imbalance.
To explain: The body’s methyl groups turn genes off or on by affecting
interactions between DNA and the cell’s protein-making machinery genes.
Because the methylation cycle is essential for mental and physical health,
basic nutrients necessary for normal function of this cycle are critical.
Too much or too little of important methyl groups can cause a methylation
imbalance. Being overmethylated or undermethylated combined with pyrrole
disorder, elevated toxic metals, nutrient deficiencies and abnormal copper
levels is often the “root cause” of individuals with severe behavioral
issues.
Targeted Advanced Nutrient Therapy to correct these imbalances generally
results in reports of great improvement in children with
oppositional–defiant disorder, assaultive or violent behavior, antisocial
personality disorder and intermittent explosive disorder.
Here's some info regarding food allergies and how they relate to ADD/ADHD. This is very interesting stuff. The testing I mention in the video is called ...
Food allergies HA! If only it were that simple. My son was diagnosed in
kindergarten, never still, never in his seat, couldn't learn, teacher
couldn't teach! With trial of meds, no 100% instant fix but it got better.
He told his doctor, "I feel calm and alert and ready to work" when on meds.
He NEVER zombied out or fell asleep in class, STILL has a curious,
multi-tasking mind, and graduated from h.s. with A and B grades! He's going
to COLLEGE. Im for proper diagnosis and treatment with meds!
I've done a tremendous amount of research on alternative treatments. I hate
to break it to you but if you don't like the medication the doctor gave you
then you're going to need to open your mind to things like kinesiology,
homeopathy, acupuncture, herbs and simple changes in your diet. All I can
tell you is what has worked for me. If you're looking for alternatives then
stop thinking the alternatives are a scam. Also, research Eastern Medicine
for ADD, get all the info you can. Good luck.
After taking adderall for six months I finally see that its not a miracle,
it ruined my life, I feel depressed, I'm agressive, everything pisses me
off and i hate everyone, i feel like i've gone crazy. I am fighting with
co-workers, parents, friends, and haven't gone out other than to school,
work, or shopping in over 4 months. I even skipped thanksgiving with my
family today because i don't feel like going anywhere. I have no motivation
to live anymore. Nothing to look forward to.
this video actually gave me some insight on why I concentrate the best when
doing lots of times at once. but I don't like the way you talk about
medication. I have been on them for a long time, and I feel that I still
have all the advantages ADD gives to you, but with better functionality. It
has helped me get through school. I believe that the drugs affect different
people in different ways, and I feel that you should not tell people that
the drugs are wrong for everyone.
Clockwork, I agree with you. If one medicine causes bad side effects, tell
your doctor! My son's doc diagnosed him with GAD, generalized anxiety
disorder, along with his ADHD, and tailor-made his Rx to balance him out.
Doc said that with anxiety and/or depression, an ADHD patient should not
take too high of a stimulant. Some meds are available now that are NOT
stimulants. Mewsy should tell the doctor about the depression and ask for a
change of meds, now!

How to spot the ADD'er. Prefers to have many things on the go, mostly at
random. Stacks of uncompleted tasks. No order to do them. None completed.
Putting out one fire after another. Undependable most times. Frustrated.
Blames others. Convoluted thinking and communicating. Find the fast and
temporary answer to any problem. Tangental thinking. Defensive thinking. In
denial. Totally disorganized. A post-it note junky.
= / I don't think I have adhd, butI have trouble NOT thinking... lol I
guess I just think a lot.. my bf has adhd.... we've been together over 2
years.. I think I'm getting use to it a little.. I think it helps for him
to have someone to keep him from being too impulsive! but.. it makes me sad
when I try to talk to him and he tells me sometimes he doesn't listen he
just stares at the ceiling or something..
I was diagnosed border-line ADD, they gave me tons of crap, which just made
my lay on the couch all day watching cartoons. So my mom took me off it
after a month. Since then i've had no problems, sometimes I wander in my
own head, but this just meens people have to address me by name first. I
seem to focus better when i'm a little tired, maybe it's because my
thinking of other things is dumbed down.
My first two attempts at commenting on this video were too long :( I also
made the above mistake yurturtuy. I'll make this short. You did a very good
job at trying to create a visualization of what it's like to have ADD. I'm
currentley getting ready to create my own ADD visualization. Just another
of my always growing prodjects to be done :) Good Job and do another if you
would :)
Hi - interesting video. ADHD & ADD are caused by a reaction to food
additives, such as MSG, artificial preservatives and sweeteners, rather
than allergies to the food itself. A change of diet to organic and
fresh/natural foods should make a huge difference to your life. Oh...and
welldone for being strong enough to refuse the drugs. Best wishes, Jay.
Thanks for subscribing. There's a lot of different information and opinions
out there. However, I know from experience the negative effects of
prescription medication. Whenever possible I choose homeopathic
alternatives over traditional medicine. I appreciate the comment. I think
dialog on this topic is important.
Hi, I've just recently been diagnosed with ADHD - last week. I've been
reading so much about it, and it's such a relief seeing videos such as
this. I feel almost normal knowing that I'm not alone. I haven't tried
drugs or diet yet, but I'm going to look into both. I hear Transendental
Meditation is also good?
OH yes, mewsy, he had PLENTY to miss. Turning cartwheels in the middle of
move-around activity in a first grade classroom? Tell the kid who got hit
in the head by his flying feet that Adam shouldn't be on medication for
ADHD, OK? You shouldn't put down someone who takes meds and goes on to
college. Did you???
I guess I should feel pretty lucky, my psychologist doesn't want to
prescribe meds, just change in diet and behavioral counseling. on another
note, I've been telling myself I need to wash clothes for the past 3 weeks
and I finally got around to it... it's taking all I got to actually fold
them..
ever since I started to take Biphentin I almost feel like a proper human
being.... aside from not having an appetite for light foods there's no down
side from it for me. It's amazing! It even helps me sleep! :D I'm so glad I
got diagnosed after it came out and began being used ADD treatment.
Most of the peolpe who have been " helped " by some guru or by a change of
diet etc. never really had ADHD ( but e.g. some other neurological
disorders )....Everybody who tells something else must be aware that he is
helping all kinds of criminals who want to make money out of sick people !
Is it Actually ADHD or is it Just a Sleep Issue?
ADHD symptoms can be synonymous with sleep issues' symptoms. If a child is suffering from a sleep issue only- not enough hours of sleep, not good quality ...
