Yeah, and do you notice when they pull into the junk yard there, the horn sounds like it skips and then finishes off. I always thought that sounded kind of odd. The horn sounded like it might've had a bend in one of the air tubes. But, i don't think that was the style of dixie horn they used in the General Lee on the show back then. I think it was one of those single trumpets was what was used in the show.

@001GenLee that was the original horn. any dixie horn if you hit a bump good enough it will do that.

fair nuff, but you could of made a fair bit of cash breaking it for panels etc, i know the front windscreen sells for a fair bit and the shells fetch about 1k

That shell looked fine... even if you didn't put it back on the road it'd make a great race/drift/track day car platform.. And getting more and more rare.

Flares and kit was already on this truck since I previously owned this truck and the kit was on it when I resprayed it viper red :) hardtop storage cutout in the bed! Have all pics from painting it in the shop and still have the original window sticker from 1986. Do you still have the truck?
