everyone should listen to all those artists they are special in their own way Too many people are too limited in the kind of music they listen to not that I am not guilty myself but music has so much of a variance and why not try to listen to them all?

+Patrick Saxon No only is it crap, it is a nebulous mish-mash of quasi-pop quasi rock sounds. Country music has lost its identity. Not only does it not sound like country, it doesn't really sound like anything distinctive. I was never a big country fan, but I sure do have my share of Patsy Cline and Alison Krauss albums and I love them. That kind of stuff will never see the light of day in mainstream country again.
My husband always loved this song. and asked me to have it played at his
funeral if he should pass before me..He passed away in April of 2004, after
a short seven week battle with lung cancer. On his last trip to the
hospital, he was more concerned about me than himself so he spent most of
our time in the emergency room telling me jokes.. there wasn't a day in our
33 years together that he didn't tell me he loved me, or kiss me goodbye.,
and that's the way he left this earth..I honored his wishes and had this
played at this funeral.
+Susan Cantrell Susan, thank you very much for your touching story. This song perfectly describes the marriage I have with my wife of 45 years. Also, if you are not familiar with it, listen to Judd Strunk's "I'll Give You a Daisy a Day." I think it will have meaning for you. Godspeed.
+Susan Cantrell THAT WAS VERY NICE, but I told my wife that if I passed before she did, that I DID NOT WANT ANY OF THOSE "tear jerking" song and music at MY funeral, that there would be enough time to mourn my funeral at a later date if they felt the need, but I want BOOGIE music at MY funeral, and made a list of BOOGIE music that I like. She told me to put it into a WILL.so later, nobody would make fun of her for the music and song at my funeral. She died because a drunk ran into us in West Texas.
You have my deepest condolences; what a sweet story of love and devotion! I envy you having such a beautiful relationship with your husband; I have been married twice and neither one lasted and I don't have the heart to go through it again! You are a lucky lady! Kudos!!!
