Cold Exhaust Massive Smoke Start Up

Here I am again folks starting up the cold exhaust truck .. The smoke was billowing this morning folks.... I still had to give a couple revs, little short ones .

My car starts just fine, but it smokes like crazy when I do a cold start. What did you fixed to make your car stop smoking like that?

I did two seafoam treatments... try that first if that doesn't work you probably have a bad coolant temperature sender switch the one that goes to the computer not the gauge... if you don't know how to seafoam check out my instructional seafoam video...

You need to change the spark plugs they may be burnt down to low... It takes more Spark to fire The plugs which takes longer cranking time...

Thanks buddy... that's right you have to customize your exhaust for off roading... cannot be dragging tail pipes under the wheels...LOL that's why I have the muffler and tailpipe s tight up against the bed..

How many miles (or kilometres) are on it? The valve seals tend to go early on the 2.8L engine. Mine started doing the same thing at just over 100,000 km (62,000 miles)

+fabio40 It is almost 100K miles. I'm pretty sure you are right ... I have stem seals to replace in the future.
