+Jack Foobar Only 2.3% of refugees accepted into the US are Syrian. But in the world, syria is the second highest place of origin for refugees which number roughly at 4,086,760. Palestine is at first place with 6,600,000. There's 15,097,633 refugees in the world so to compare the two countries i will use 12ths. Roughly 3.2/12 of refugees are Syrian and almost 5.2/12 of refugees are Palestinian, the other 3.6/12 is the combined number of refugees from the other countries(4,410,873 refugees from other countries, the fractions have a 0.1 discrepancy). So are you talking about just the US or the world? And your reluctance to give a link only causes skepticism.
+Jack Foobar I have no idea where youre getting this information, would you care to point me in the direction you got it from? I also have another question, why would ISIS send terrorists to Europe if they're currently losing territory in syria and iraq due to the Russian influence in syria and Kurdish armies in Iraq? Why would they try to encourage more countries to declare war on them when they can't handle the current countries?
+Jack Foobar I was trying to search the demographics of Syrian refugees to find out if what you're saying is true, but I kept seeing that the majority of refugees come from Syria or Afghanistan. Most of the refugees are coming from places where direct conflict causes them to flee for their lives, but a minority of refugees are coming from really poor countries.Even though those minority's lives are not being directly threatened, they still can be considered refugees. If they can't get a job because their country is so underdeveloped or their job pays almost nothing, and then can't buy a home or food, they should have the opportunity to change that. I'm assuming you fear that the only reason they want to move to Europe is to abuse the "free" support the union provides and not contribute. And I'm sure there are a few who would do that, but an easy solution would be to reduce the time of support welfare provides so if they'll try to abuse it they'll end up in the same predicament they were previously in. The only thing to keep in mind is that these people need a little time, not just to learn English or the country's official language, they need to learn how a western society works. Some of the refugees need to learn that freedom of speech protects everyone so they depict anything, and women are equal. Another fear is that Muslims will enforce sharia law and they probably will... On them selves. There are many different types of sharia law, most of which are similar to the laws we have now or demand that a Muslim must be polite(some versions demand a theocracy which is more extreme). But some use sharia law like mega-churches use the bible in that they twist and lie about it to get power and/or fortune like the "caliphate" who rules ISIS. But the majority of Muslims already live in more developed countries and aren't walking around killing in the name of Allah or Muhammed or whatever. What do you think?
+Jack Foobar Yezidis, Christians, and Mandaeans are fleeing genocides committed by ISIS in Iraq. But also there's boko haram who is the African branch of ISIS located near The Gulf Of Guinea who also commits genocide against non-Islamic religions. I get that you don't hear a lot about yezidis or especially mandaeans because they have such a small worship base. But even on this channel they show the boat loads of Christian refugees coming to Europe or other countries in their region that accepts them. But your comment is a little true. A large portion of Syrian refugees are running from bombs dropped by Assad's military.
