yes boil was used mainly for white clothes to get them clean thats why i have use the tongs to get my clothes out of the washer but even then the clothes are still very hot for me to touch before they go through the wringger hope this helps

I see what you mean about there not been much water it's because I got more washing to do after this load but I didn't want boiling hot water for the other clothes I had got to put in after the heat shrinks some things

hmm my parents told me about these kinds of washing machines. They say if you weren't careful the rollers could snatch your arm off. I was like no way. But after seeing this video yeah I definitely believe them now.

oh my goodness!!where did u get the paraffin oil heater?we used to have one the same and i still remember the gurrgle noise when u put the container back in after filling it!! the fumes distroyed the walls though!

Could do with a bit more water than that. Should be filled nearly to the top of the agitator for a good load turn over. These Servis Compacts take around 7lb.

The Servis washing machine factory was at Darlaston in the West Midlands, not in Darlington as stated above.

We had one of these. The wringer on top would sometimes break plastic buttons.
