I am swapping my 2l for a 1.8t but I'm having troubles with the harness I have the 1.8 harness but it connects through the fire wall into the panel . any tips ?

What MS do you use?

First start 1.8T Corrado conversion

Put this project together over the winter and did the actual swap in the last month with guidance from threads on Corrado club of Canada, vwvortrx, and wetdub.

Hi. No frequency problems per say. Once or twice I would lose electrical gas peddle input, she would just idle, but I cleaned my grounding points and no issues since. No priming issues from the tank either. Seems the stock corrado fuel pump can handle the K03 well at 17 lbs boost. Car is SUPER peppy now compared to the original powerplant. Not too much so, easy to drive easy too, but give her more than 1/4 pedal and she just takes off! 0-140kms coming out of fourth in under 8 seconds easy. Lays rubber in 4 of the 5 gears, and might chirp on the fifth gear change as well but I haven't been able to test that yet. Need to get her on a track to really know for sure.. Cheers.

Any problems with throttle body frequency? Or fuel pump not priming sometimes?

how easy is it to swap any engine in a rabbit?? like if i buy one that came with 4 wheel disc brakes, a/c and stick and awd i would like to swap my motor for a diesel HA that would be nice!!!! what year rabbit came with all those things did american rabbits ever come with diesels?

this is just the turbo on the 1.8T....it wheezes and does sound raspy, but if you had one you would get used to it. Also....stop being a hater
