How do things strap down on that rack? Is it secure? I've already looked into getting the Flatland skid plate and would like to get this but it's design seems a little unusual(I like the way it looks though) compared to tubular bike racks.

I had a tubular rack. I think this one looks better. I use donkey sided Velcro straps to old it on.

Looks nice. I didn't realize FR made a tail rack. I just got the Wolfman version in the mail today and it's practically identical to yours and I agree it's looks way nicer (more modern and technical styling) than tube type racks. What brand is that bike stand? How do you get your bike up there? I'll need one when I pick up my CRFL in April and bike stands are a bit of a mystery to me. I never had one with my other bikes but I want one this time arround. Vermont winters can be a long time for a machine to sit on its tires and compressed suspension. Thanks-Tyler
