Excellent HD 757 Approach and Landing In Charlotte on the Winter Solstice!!!
Crisp landing with excellent Rolls Royce RB-211 engine sound! Unusually warm day as temperatures were in the mid 70's! Watch as we approach from the ...
Hi...I'm one of your subscribers and watch all your superb video's. I love
this one, as the clarity of the video is so excellent, I feel as I am on
this flight. This landing was smooth as Butter.!! Thanks.!!
Well, this was just AWESOME!
What a great overcast arrival, a lot of nice RB-211 sounds!
Trailer parks! Wow, heavy thrust reverse!
Liked it as usual, I can take a 757 any day!
Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300 Takeoff from Charlotte Douglas CLT
Awesome flight! Loved seeing the three 727s during taxi, and a UPS Airbus. An US Airways Airbus also landed just before we took off. Shortly after takeoff, I got ...
Thanks alot dude! Southwest has boarding zones. You can pay $12.50 USD and
get boarding zone A, which means you will be with the first group to board
the plane, which is what I did. There is a group which boards before group
A, and that is the "business group" i guess you could call it. Even if you
are in group A, the plane can still have some people in it before you ever
get on, but I got a nice seat with a good view of the wing. It may be kinda
confusing at first, but its alright!

+Ándreas M.M.P On the a320 family series aircraft they have those little brass knuckle looking items. Im not 100% sure, but I think they are for Emergency Ropes.
I'm flying on a US Airways Airbus 319 in 2 weeks. It'll be my first A319
flight! Would you recommend the Sony HDR-XR150 as a camcorder? I want to
film the landings and takeoffs.
That's actually quite an old camcorder; I'm pretty sure it's discontinued. Head over to Best Buy and see if any customers have returned camcorders. Best buy usually sells some really nice camcorders for cheap prices if they've been returned.
+JackAviation “JandTaviation” TommyAviation okay... Airline pilot here... If it's visual... I can disconnect whenever the hell I want... If it's an ILS, SOP guidelines mandate it be flown by the autopilot until runway confirmed insight and landing is assured... This was visual, he could have disconnected at 5000' for all he cares, just so long as the runways in sight...
+HDI Gaming If a pilot is doing an ILS approach, they do NOT disengage the AP at 1000-2000. Anywhere from 2000-3000 is where they normally intercept the Glideslope. They normally disengage at minimums which is around 200 ft.
Do you mean autoland? Practically every airliner landing is an ILS approach but the pilots disengage autopilot at about 1000-2000 feet depending on the weather and fly it in manually.
Beautiful First Class Fall Morning Airbus A321 Landing In Charlotte!!!
What a gorgeous day for flying! Clear skies and calm winds today! Incredible reverse thrust from those CFM engines! Watch as we approach from the South and ...
+macsrule94 All the airlines in the U.S. have done an excellent job with safety recently! AA is in the process of updating their fleet at the moment! With the 2 combined you'll be able to fly all over the world on the One World Alliance!
I always felt that American wasn't as good on maintenance/safety that US Air was. Always see a American Airlines plane crashing. Always felt Us Air had better pilots, like what Flight 1549 did. I was in Orlando the day US Air and America West merged systems and it resulted in a delay of all flights and after a lockdown at the airport (plane couldn't land coming from Charlotte) we left 4 hours late, i think he flew full power the whole time back, we were there in no time.
