Established in 1971, the United Arab Emirates is a relatively young Arab country that has experienced a huge surge in prosperity in recent years. Guided by wise ...
We Gulf Countries love our monarchs, like my country Kuwait's Amir Sheikh
Sabah, besides we are terrible at democracy in Kuwait! We cant even elect a
good Parliament, the Parliament is filled with liars that want to kick out
Government Ministers who did nothing wrong. The Amir made a wise desicion
kicking out the last Parliament, but this one is much worse. Women have
rights as men in Kuwait like the UAE aswell and I agree with you saying we
dont have to be a replica of another culture
As a westerner, specifically and American and a Christian I cannot fathom
why I should be so enamored by your beautiful country as if I long to
return to a home I never knew. Prior to 9/11 I had a naiive view of the
muslim world. I thought that most of the countries there, though different
in religion, were friendly. Since I have been very pessimistic, then I
discovered Dubai and the UAE! What a shining example of what can be done
and how muslim and westerner can work in harmony!
Quote: Prior to 9/11 I had a naive view ... Don't blame an external thing
but something internal, for example that you were busy with an illness,
your job or your family (or building a house, etc.) and hadn't been free to
be reflective on the wider world, prior to that particular moment when you
assessed the Muslim world and its good features. . Just a tip. o0o
Says who? Why should our culture and society be a carbon copy of yours for
you to accept us? We're happy, proud and progressing at a steady rate. The
UAE have the lowest crime rates in the world. Women can drive, vote, go to
university, work as much as men, in fact there are more women in the UAE
universities than men.
What about your women? Are they free? Do they have the rights that men do?
What about your political system? Are free elections being held in your
system? Your material progress is admirable, but it is not enough.
Borkan AlGala عمر بركان الغلا . UAE . Most handsome man in Dubai
Arabs are so perfect and they have everything including looks, money, skin color, beauty, rich culture, ancient history, nicest cars, biggest houses, and an ...
He is good looking obviously, but it's quite common to see handsome Arab
guys like him that to me he becomes the average.
And there are even more hotter ones :)
He only looks good in traditional garb otherwise he looks like a lot of
Middle Eastern douchelords in US. Not saying all or majority of them are
and unfortunately there are douches in any nationality
+jeanne pompadour lol im arab and im no douche? race doesn't make u a douche its how ur raised cmon now its not nice im part actually my dad is Egyptian and my mother is white I hate these type of steryotypes
+hacker hacker muslim is a religion not a race arab is his race who said he was a muslim the garb? the garb means nothing even if he was a muslim it isn't ur business don't judge other religions in the bible it says not to judge other religions and accept them so u shoul to
+Nicole N Now thats stupid.. how can one man represent the whole community? Are all white people racist? are all black people criminals? But when it comes to muslims, all of them may not be bad but they believe in an ideology which is regressive and evil, You should live in saudi or pakistan to experience it first hand. Take a look at the broader picture..
+hacker hacker My bf is as human as the rest of us. He is really kind.I used to be mistaken about Muslims until i met a really kind person who changed my perception. Radicals in Islam are not the everyday Muslims who have a normal job and look forward to seeing their family at the end of the day.
+Nicole N At least they are less than human... why dont you check human right index of muslim countries like saudi? How a man or society treats women defines them..
+Nicole N For the same reason why some women can have sex with dogs, horses, pigs as they find them exotic. Once a muslim man has fucked you many times, he will beat your ass at drop of a hat for no rhyme and reason. why? coz allah has said so,
Dubai only started developing about 50 years ago, and it has quickly become one of the richest cities in the world. It is becoming one of the hottest places to visit ...
This is the only place in the Middle East I wouldn't mind visiting.
Suprised the crime rate is extremely low. I know it's hot there, but Dubai
looks like a city of the future, looks too amazing. I know it's expensive
which is probably why I won't get to visit there, and I don't know anyone
there
+Brace Brooks maybe you should go on an organized tour with people your age. Its more expensive, but safe. look for a tour group that gives you free time to explore.when I landed in Delhi, I was in shock by the dirt, poverty & pollution. Its grey on a sunny day. you might get the same in Chinese towns. I quickly left Delhi and stayed in small towers or villages that were much nicer. In India they speak English almost everywhere. when I travelled in south America (very dangerous) I learn basic Spanish along the way. it wasn't that difficult. I can't say that all the people I met along the way were good people and you definitely have to be careful. many young people stay in hostels and travel by train. its one way to see Europe. I hate hostels, it kind of feels like prison.
+Nurit L Shanghai, China for now. I did want to go to Egypt for a while too, but it may still be dangerous there. I'm not sure, but I would love to see Shanghai, I just don't know any of the Chinese language except the word hello which is "Ni hao" and of course don't know anyone personally there. I'm not good at making friends with people. It's hard to know who you can trust these days, and most friends I've had aren't loyal, just temporary, and will ditch me without explanation when they get more successful.
+Brace Brooks when I went backpacking, I went to cheap destinations like India. The problem is that these places are not always safe. I usually became friends with other tourists. Although when I went to Sinai, Egypt I met many locals and even had an Egyptian boyfriend for a while. Now Sinai way too dangerous. If you go to expensive destinations like Paris, then you can either stay in a hostel or stay for a short time. you also might need a visa. Many countries want to see that you have a return ticket. what country do you want to visit?
I've lived there all my life and here are some stuff i know, burj khalifa
can be viewed easily from any where in dubai, u can find TONS of stray cats
every where but no stray dogs, hospitals in dubai are one of the best but
most expensive, al khansaa school in dubai (for girls) teach students math
and science in english and arabic according to the class, al ghad schools
are one of the best schools to ever exist (and they teach using tablets
given to each student in grade 7), one of the biggest malls is dubai mall
with the biggest fish aquarium in the world (buts it's pretty boring for me
to be there) note it's all from my personal experience..
