So glad that there's another series, This one was fabulous. I agree with you @MrPerson542 it made me consider a career at the Criminal Bar. Maxine Peake is a superb actress and I can't wait to have her on my screen again :D

This show is a great representation of what the pressure of the criminal bar is like. However I can tell you from experience it is much harder than they make it look, so think carefully before considering it as a career

I think it was specially written for the programme. The composer (Dru Masters) had written many others for the BBC. He has a website at soundcloud which you can find on google. ;)

Maxine Peake has just been interviewed on 'BBC Radio 2' and announced that they start filming the second series of 'Silk' in October, for broadcast around May 2012. Yay!!!!!!!
