+Karen Beggs Hi Karen, yes you can do it in the oven. Brown the roast a bit in a skillet, transfer to a baking pan with all of the other ingredients. Foil and cook 3-4 hours at 325* or until fork tender. Remove the foil and let it continue to cook until the liquid has reduced by half.
