Seems like, when I activate the "ECO" (turn it "on") display, it just comes on, and stays on.........don't know that the motor or computer are actually doing anything at all (Hyundai, Santafe Limited, 6 Cyl, 2012).

No it depends on various factors. Like is a car full of people , are you driving uphill or downhill and sometimes if i run on 95 or 98 octane fuel can be a small differences.

Does the Eco-indicator always tall you to change gear on 2600RPM, no matter if you are driving uphill or downhill ???
