After putting 8 year old fuel into this little beast, she really rips! Just fixed it up about a week ago, and while fixing it, I discovered that it'll run fine on a Duratrax ...
Hah thanks man. Actually surprisingly not! Yeah the fuel that I put in is
about 8 years old and for some reason it makes it go wayyyy faster than
usual. I really don't know how, but I think it just was kept sealed up real
tight.
@615dopeboy I wish haha! But no you have to buy special nitro methane hobby
fuel for it. They do make an r/c buggy that's a fairly large scale, which
I'm pretty sure takes normal gasoline.. Seems pretty dope.
wow it can really grip on that tarmac in those bends nice man hey i do hope
your just kiddin aound with the 8 year old fuel thing right??!!!!!!!!! lol

RC Speed Week #11 Losi 8T Gas Truggy Stock This is a speed test of the Losi 8-T truggy after the motor has been run in. The car has been tuned fairly well, but ...
They tried hard to compete with the SAVAGE OCTANE Engine but failed
miserably with this one... But I guess its okay if you want the noise and
smoke from a gas engine without using Nitro, I would totally use that
truggy fine for bashing... Racing? Nope.
+Aussie RC Playground The OCTANE hasn't been discontinued In the USA. The issues it had was with the CDI Box in the beginning now those are solved by either HPI or DIY.
Thank good for the Lipos... what an annoying way to get a headache... not
to mention getting high from the fumes... I hope these things will
disappear from our beloved hobby scene !
+Vlad Barrette Unlikely. There will always be a market for gas or nitro cars despite the fact most people prefer electric these days. And to be honest, I like having this one car that's different from the rest.
