Disney Infinity Wreck-it Ralph & Venelope von Schweetz
We love the Disney Infinity game franchise and wanted to review our collection. Take a look at Penelope and Ralph in action. Tell us what you think. [ Please ...
No I didn't, surprisingly. I have all 32 characters I currently own at level 15 and there was a glitch for awhile where the Toy Box Launch toy box kept having free spins appear on the top of the hill (that forms after you get in a vehicle)
I just got a Disney Infinity for my Wii. I'm super excited. I'm sure you
saw but Walmart has them for $37 this week starting today until Wednesday I
think. Are Rapunzel and Ralph only for Toy Box mode? Will they be getting
worlds as well? I hope so. I'm trying to figure out which ones I'll be
getting next.
Rapunzel, Ralf (and Vanellope) won't be getting worlds, but I have Rapunzel and Vanellope and I don't at all regret the purchase. They're a lot of fun to play as.

I'm hoping that by 4.0 they actually fix most of the 1.0 characters (not
all of them) and give most of them actual combo abilities like the 3.0 cast
rather than letting them collect dust or worse releasing newer versions of
the characters that has those abilities which is what Infinity is doing
now, Ralph and Vanellope sorely need the combo upgrades that the latter 2
Infinity games brought in out of all the 1.0 characters they're in need of
it the most (along with the Toy Story group, the Incredibles would be
easier to do them with since they already have basic combos but need more
to compete with).
Anyways since the focus here is on Ralph (whom I actually want to use a lot
more after seeing how much potential he could have gotten in the
series) here's what I would do to fix him to make him stand up to the 3.0
group (this would also fix his skill tree in the process):
Old attack that he had in 1.0 from the beginning now becomes his super move
only it lasts longer and acts similar to Donald's Hammer super that you can
move around very fast, this would open up a new set of ground based attacks
for Ralph which he sorely needs and gives the big wrecking guy some
mobility with his super as a result.
1-2 Punch combo (think Mr. Incredible's) followed by a shoulder bash (this
is actually where a shoulder bash could have some uses in a combo for once
and with Ralph being big, it fits him) that knocks foes away which you can
then hold the finisher to pull your foe to Ralph which would be probably be
something from his series (he's a video game character after all and should
have some video game logic broken especially in Infinity since anything's
possible), after bringing your foe to him his combo finishers ends with 2
very powerful fists slamming down hitting twice for big damage (think
Hulk's when using it) or you could extend it with spinning punches (think
Donkey's Kong's Up special from Smash bros, only it would deal around 5
hits rather than the hits the move itself actually does).
For his air combos that's very simple, he uppercuts his foe that leads into
a massive quick combo with his fists in the air in rapid succession similar
to Hulkbuster's air combos which you can hold the finisher button to
continue the chain, Ralph ends the air combo with a powerful punch that
either has a chance to kill his opponent or set up for the killing blow.
The Power Up buff on his skill tree along with mid-air recovery would be
removed since he should have those right from the start (he is super strong
like Mr. Incredible and HHulkbuster he shouldn't have to unlock his super
strength ability, and mid-air recovery being a skill point was rather dumb
on Infinity's part as all characters should have mid-air recovery right
from the get-go like in 1.0), his range attack would remain unchanged aside
from a few points from his skill tree involving it removed or merged to
make room for his super move buffs (to be honest I think the extra points
involving supers should be trimmed down just a tad bit so you can put
points in other important areas like health).
As for Vanellope that's for another time (I could see her getting a
revamped moveset similar to Hiro's but with glitching being a primary
method instead of microbots), I'd also like to figure out Violet's updated
mechanics and what a new moveset of her would be like, but she's more
likely to get a new figure that's based on her sequel counterpart that has
all of the combo upgrades her 1.0 self would love to have just like
Hulkbuster, Captain America-The First Avenger did for regular Iron Man and
Captain America for 2.0 which is probably going to happen either way since
Disney is generally lazy (and don't want to up the 1.0 gang, because they
would rather focus on new content rather than updating old characters),
unless Infinity dies out by the time the Incredibles II hits theaters in
2019.
+DisKingdom.com - Collect Disney Reselling old characters is kind of a stupid decision on their part to shell out whatever money they can make off of them left before they're forced to do reposes, this goes to show JV doesn't care about what the fans want, but he did promised them that he would try to get most of the 1.0 cast updated to be able to compete with the evolving series and although he keeps trying to do that but he breaks those promises because of Disney's stupid decisions that new is far better than old.I want the 1.0 cast to have a fighting chance in future games, but by this point they'll be gone by the time 4.0 hits stores since they always go for what's new, I wouldn't mind 1.0 characters getting reposes if it helps update them (which is likely our only hope at this point, unless they up the level cap from 20-to-30 between 3.0 and 4.0), heck Sam and Quorra got duped in 3.0 because they stuck to the 2.0 mechanics with them they should have updated them to have the same stuff the 3.0 cast has right now during development but nope they rushed them (regardless they're awesome at least Quorra is).Guess we'll have to use the updated melee weapon mechanics with the 1.0 cast for them to have a fighting chance (which I'll admit it's awesome since it does kind of give them a little lease on life), then again who knows they might not even add much in 4.0 in terms of combat updates (if that happens that could be the time to update most of the 1.0 cast (not all of them, just for ones that makes sense). The 2.0 gang kind of don't need the updates, since it's likely 4.0 won't introduce much in terms of combat upgrades, since 4.0 is going to go back to be Disney focused again (hopefully they leave the KH gang out as that'll force more upgrades to the already changing combat mechanics).
