Its a combination of the Norfolk demograph frequenting the area now and military. The oceanfront has changed, and not for the better in my opinion.

+Shehasnomorals Depends on what area in Norfolk you are considering. Anywhere in Ghent is decent, as far as Botetourt Gardens is good, very expensive. Ballentine Blvd. is nice too. Anything else is up for debate. I was born and raised in Norfolk the first seven years. I am 29 now. Norfolk has changed quite a bit, but not really for the best. There is still a lot of clean up to do.....
