Good video, I gave it thumbs up and subbed. I will be looking for more vids
from you. If you get a chance check out my hunting vids and I would greatly
appreciate a sub back. Thanks and good luck!!
Great video. Looks like something I would see on the outdoor channel. What
do you use to record?! I can't get over how good it looks. Also did you
record it by yourself or did you have someone record for you?
+Robert Stewart It's all about having decent mounts in the tree with me. I have my Canon on a cheap camera arm from HME looking towards my shooting lanes, and I have my GoPro on a bow-holder looking at me. When I see something start coming towards me, I turn on the GoPro, and try to start recording with the Canon. It's tough to self-film, and you'll probably miss an opportunity or two to shoot, but it's a sacrifice to get everything on video.
+Tyler Barron Looking forward to the upcoming footage. I'm still wondering how you recorded and shot at the same time. I'm new to recording hunts. Most of the time i just use my iPhone to record what I see and can't record and shoot at the same time. Sometimes I can't record at all because I a too afraid of the animal passing through without me getting a shot off. Did you have your Canon on a tripod to record the shot? If it's your GoPro recording the shot, what mount do you use for it? Also, do you always have your camera on record? I have heard that the GoPro battery life is only 1 1/2 to 2 hours of recording and I sit longer than that.
+Robert Stewart Thank you! It was all self-recorded and edited. I used a combination of my GoPro and a Canon DSLR. I'm saving up for some better equipment, and I've got a lot more footage I'll be working through soon.
