You all do know Norris never fought full contact right...just for points?
He never took a punch or kick in competition and would have gotten killed
if he did...all show. Just watch any review from true experts and his tech
is poor. Hate to tell you this but Elvis also did drugs...sorry kids.
+William E Lanning JrWell sir I trained for many years and fought in many the same type. No comparison to the real deal...not even close. A good street fighter can damage a person no matter how well trained so dream on and come to reality. It only takes one lucky shot...period!
+petersouth1000 Chuck took and taught Tang Soo Do where you do full contact sparring he did kickboxing, full contact karate he use to train with and spar Bruce Lee so anybody that says he has never took a punch or sparred is a full blown retard.
+sorgans sorganHe never competed or spars, that's not legit. He's also old.Rigan have seperate celebrity BB program with no sparring for these guys so they don't mess up their face. You're not going to walk into a dojo off the street and spar with Chuck.BB isn't what it used to be.
Chuck Norris isnt so great, if he was he`d sneak up on me right now and
smash my head on the keybo-p]]l'pmmhjjkjlbjebj jgehdhhhu.qjbjnqwlk;l

+bigdking1992 tang so doo...chuck changeD that up to the ' chuck Norris system" as it was called. I trained in it as a teen under Roger Lacombe. the referee ftom karate kid movie was teaching a few of our classes, pat Johnson,he was 9th degree bavk thrn in 83 or 84. one of the black belts ftom our class got to be in the first karate kid as one of the cobra Kai students. anyway the point was that chuck stopped teaching tang so doo and startrd his own system. then he got smart like the rest of us and started training bjj!!
Chuck is a 10th degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do, 9th degree in Tang Soo Do, *th degreee in Tae Kwon Do, 5th Degree in Karate, 3rd Degree in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a black belt in Judo.
He knew regular jujitsu, which is just as effective. Actually it is even better. regular was designed for the battlefield to kill, which is why samurai practiced it. You can look up videos of him practicing and demonstrating it.
+bigdking1992 he would have gotten thumped in a bad way in those early ufcs esp since he didn't know bjj at all. Ken shamrock, Keith hackney, Jason DeLucia, pat smith...those guy would have destroyed chuck. I do think chuck would have won a few fights and would have went down a fight though
He would have never joined cage fighting, since it was not part of his philosophy, but if he did he would have remained undefeated and unmatched even today.
+bigdking1992 chucks a true martial artist. I would have loved to see him in the early ufcs...he was invited but said he haD nothing to prove and I agree
+TheDarkAquarian cool. BuT chuck must have had a few years bjj under his belt at this point, he musta been a purple belt by 1992. He looks pretty good n fluid in the demo.

+carl delaney Hey, no one has seen everything, that is why this channel exists. I am glad you enjoyed watching it and found it useful, you will have to let me know how you got on with using it next time you find yourself in this position!
being smaller by 60lbs this was i big issue . this looks to be some help
the other is they like to run around my head with forearms on my chest to
avoid the shrimp in to get guard or half. i do get a hand on the hips to
try to control but these guys are oxs.
+James Kerr Hey, we have all been there. 90% of people who train always have monsters to have to deal with. That is what makes Jiu Jitsu so fascinating, if you get it right, you will be able to deal with this kind of size/weight difference utilising your knowledge, technique and experience. I hope you enjoyed watching this video with Sean, thanks for commenting!
+Ace, The Reactor Hey, thanks for watching and commenting, Sean is an excellent coach with a great eye for details, make sure you check out his other videos on here, they are all great!! I am just glad you enjoyed it!!
This is a good show to demonstrate how to defend BJJ's leg hugging and the
subsequent ground wrestle that BJJ will surely win. That Muay Thai fighter
has defintely studied how BJJ works for a while and figured out the
weakness of leg hugging. This is a good lesson for many other martial
artists to learn as well. The trick is to maintain both legs in the
extended position, use both hands to grab the opponnent by the arm pits and
lean the upper body forward. In this way your legs will be able to swing
backwards away from the opponent's body. This is a crucial defence. You
must act fast before losing your balance.
The BJJ guy should avoid his neck being grabbed. When you cannot grab both legs why not try just attack just one leg? If one leg is captured and knocked off balance the opponent will also fall. It is very dangerous to face a kick boxer when grabbed on the leg and in a spread out bridge position. The Muay Thai guy pulled the face towards the kicking knee and amplified the effect of the hit. That's why such knee kicks are so deadly. However, most Muay Thai fighters are very weak to defend hip throws. When in such a bridge position the BJJ guy should quickly enter and apply jujitsu throw. You can see from the video, just after the bridge was formed and just before the Muay Thai guy delivered a knee kick on the face, the BJJ guy missed a golden opportunity to applied such a throw. In fact, the BJJ guy did not use his hands wisely once after the neck was grabbed. He needs to learn from this experience (if he can fully recover from the injury)
He is a pro fighter, he certainly know how, but the Muay Thai fighter defended well against the leg hug, and responded even better, destroying his whole strategy.
+Rodrigo Fontes bjj is ground only. muay thai is standup only. if the fight starts and ends in a standup position, you are right. on the ground mt would have been the joke
+Sports Hub This particular BJJ fighter relied too much on his expertise of ground work. He did not realized that not all the time you can throw the guy on the ground by mere double-leg hug. Jujitsu guy are supposed to be good at throws as well, but this BJJ fighter never had the chance to demonstrate his throws.
+Solid Spirit You have to understand BJJ is a brand heavily promoted by Gracie Inc lol. They market the shit out of BJJ, so they can not make any videos showing that is inferior to anything get out. Those who truly understand the Fighting arts know that BJJ is not THE perfect fighting style, there is no such thing. The Gracie Academy wants to make us believe there is and BJJ is it. Original Jiu Jitsu is a lot better than BJJ it retains the strikes BJJ removed, we see where Muay Thai and Tae Kwon Do can be more effective than BJJ. I mean, Muay Thai incorporates elements of Grappling in it but just no groundwork. I am sorry, I will not really depend on an Art that places 90% of its emphasis on getting an opponent to the ground. I would much rather an art that teaches me to stand up at all cost Muay Thai and Western Boxing do that. And the former incorporates elements of grappling with the clinch and knee and has solid defences that focus on not going to the ground!
+Rodrigo Fontes i have just seen hundreds of videos of gracie bbj beating every other fighting style style in the world, i am struggling to actually find videos where people can beat it...what the fuck do you mean its a big joke? Please paste me links to show me why it is a big joke
+Carlos Andrés you know donnie yen he beat 8 guys who were trying to insult and touch his girlftiend.if he is a kung fu guy and can easily do it.now a muay tai guy.
+Carlos Andrés actually a good muay tai can take 2 o 4 guys down.a low leg kick can generate over 1000 pounds of force which can break bones easily.so it wont be hard.
+Anime vs Comic that's not a real fight that's faggot's fighting style, and even if you know muay thai you can't take down 4 guys unless you are bruce lee
bjj pussy? hahaha well that fighter was an ass but try to do thay with a professional bjj grappler, muay thai would be useless at the ground hahaha you fcking ignorant
