Oh come on, people who say "you open it wrong", "that's not how you're
supposed to cut it"... I can't wait to see you all use something you never
saw before for the first time.
Little known durian factoid:
People from Southeast Asian countries who does not like durian have at
least one ancestor from a European/Western country (Portugese, Dutch,
English, Spanish, French, US).
You guys posted so many great videos about tropical fruits.
I’m Thai. Since you are foreigners in my eyes, I must say that you seem to
give information about Thai fruits nearly accurately.
Your videos inspire me to eat less meat and eat more fruits, because I’m in
the land of fruit heaven that I never notice it that way.
I know you eat basically 3 meals a day but is snaking part of your daily
routine? When I get hungry I eat a couple bananas as a snack because
otherwise I feel like I may ruin my eating style otherwise. I use to be a
powerlifter and I struggle physically and mentally when I am hungry as I am
use to being full.
+Mad Flavor Disciple Yeah depending on my activity level on any given day I might include a snack or two to make my intended meal schedule for the day work. If I'm consistently forced to snack then I know my meal was not adequate and I can increase the amount of food I eat at the meal. But yes, I recommend snacking if needed.
+Gabriel Beauchemin Ok, I've never been to Chiang Mai so I can't say for sure, maybe you should ask Ted Carr, he might know. I know that in Chanthaburi, the main durian growing area, the season starts in april and peaks in may/june, so you might be able to find it! It could be more expensive if it's not peak season though. Yeah it's a bit more expensive when you eat durian, but it's worth it!
haha I am sorry for the first question! i was asking if theres is durian available in Chiang Mai in mid or late april. So about 150 baht for one durian, and you eat about 2 per meal, that makes expensive meal!!
+Bobby Crush Sure, we are pretty thin, but it's really just a matter of opinion. Fat percentage wise we are pretty good, and could even go lower. Muscle wise, we got some work to do if we feel like it. And we do.After MANY years of inactivity, we've got a fairly low level of musclularity, but slowly working at it though. Rebuilding the body.Do remember that most people carry a lot of excess fat AND water, which someone on a healthy diet and lifestyle like ourselves does not do and consequently look thinner. Some guys may look bigger than us but in fact be less muscular. I don't think we "need" to gain any weight to be healthy, but I do agree that aestehically, practically and functionally, I would like to gain some more muscle, and I'm having fun doing that on the long term! I would be interested to hear your opinion on an optimal body composition, fat percentage, muscles etc!
