+fbn1101 Yes indeed, good point, clearly things aren't working out for the US on the Colombian side and it wouldn't surprise me to see both sides escalate the Guyana situation before Venezuela's elections (6th Dec) drawing other countries into the dispute...if Suriname get drawn in, then Brazil could follow...not a good move from the US. There are already Russian missiles facing the US in Peru, though Peru claim them to be only short range missiles capable of striking Ecuador on the border...I'm sure that's not true and they at least have the range to strike Colombia.
