+Tensa Zangetsu It's senseless not because they're mismatched, but because it's stupid to compare two completely different story universes like this. Not the biggest fan of DBZ, not at all, but even seeing Aizens sword wouldn't really do shit to Goku. All he needs is one punch. One. Yeah you could weasel some scenario together where Aizen would win, but he's very clearly the underdog.

+william Cross Ok, then it still wouldn't matter because you said they can't use energy attacks and Goku can still punch through a planet. If they CAN use energy attacks Goku would just dodge, just like Ichigo would. It'd come down to hand to hand, and Ichigo would still lose.

U got good points lol but hmm lets put it like this what if goku stayed ssj and ichigo was in mugetsu there only one rule fight with no energy blasts (zanpaktos count) and that goku and ichigo just sparring till madara and hashirama come (by the way madara sage of six paths)

+william Cross You know Goku's basically a god now, right? He could destroy a planet with a punch then leave Ichigo to try to breathe without an atmosphere. It's a poor comparison to try to make. It's great for the concept of a video game (because it puts them all on the same level more or less), but to actually try to suss it out with other people is just an exercise in futility/madness. The fact of the matter is there are things in both universes that would (arguably) give both parties advantages and disadvantages. Goku probably hasn't dealt with hadou, for example ( but can you really see it giving him that much trouble?), and Ichigo hasn't dealt with someone as absurdly, stupid-strong (and fast) as Goku.  Ichigo, as Mugetsu, cut a mountain in half. It was pretty fucking sweet. But Goku has been doing that sort of damage since he was a kid. Now I'm sure someone's gonna come along and argue in favor of Ichigo and why he'd win, but seriously, it's really just a matter of opinion and gut-feeling.

The DBZ power scales are waaay different than the other shows you referenced.  They can destroy planets. The damage people do in other shows is always localized, not planetary.
