Great point. I am not a Christian or do I believe in any organized religion
but I would only suggest this for your thoughts. If there is a higher power
of some spiritual sense I don't think it had anything to do with Michael s
death. His 43 years on this Earth enlightened so many people and when I saw
him live it changed my life... really. Ask yourself what would Micheal say
about a Higher Power and his death.I am sure he would write a song about it
and would not blame anything.
That picture is one of my favorite of him and it goes great with Sister
Soul. I forgot about that comment I posted years ago and when I read it
while I listened to the song I just broke down. I miss Him so much, and
sometimes its so overwhelming. I cant explain how much this mans music
enlightened me and my wife's life. He is whats best in Man.
Thank you for all great music Michael. Words cant express how much your
music means to me. When you were in Charlotte NC playing at Spirit Square,
I shouted for you to play this song and you did. A simple request for a
spirtual song. Hard to listen to this without getting choked up.......RIP:
The world was a better place with you in it.
Not to mention wind instruments which, if I'm not mistaken, he played on
this song as well as the rest of the album and others. He was a musical
genius with a purity of heart that rang through in every note he played and
every word he sang, and it still does :)
I think Michael Hedges's untimely death proves without doubt there is no
God. Why would violent killers be left on earth and yet take the life of
this fabulous man?
Still hard for me to listen to this....... God I miss him. RIP.
