I wondered abut the slow alerting time, this makes since now. "You may have
noted that the unit alerted somewhat later that you would probably want. So
I went back to the folks at HeadsUp and asked how I could improve the
range. It turns out the unit I got had a manufacturing defect where the
wrong chips were installed in 50 pre-production units that resulted in the
range being cut in half. They’re sending me a new sign Monday that I’ll
have when I return from Interbike to try out."

Dude ur so lucky to be able to do this I hope one day I can but where I
live it's all drag racing till about so months now I found an auto cross
event but my car isn't ready. But good driving tho

Nice driving for your first time on track. I'm looking to get my newly
finished car on one. BTW, your BOV almost sounds like a small sneeze lol.

Thanks for the comment! Yea, my friends make fun of my bov sound, but I don;t care what they think, i love it. (it does sound more manly when its cold tho, it changes to a sneeze sound when it gets heat soaked)
