Great review schmoesknow. Being a fan of both "Paranormal Activity"'s (I like them both equally, I find it unfair to say which is better.), I was severely disappointed by the third installment. Was it scary? No. But I still gave it a chance. Now the one hundred dollar question, was I entertained? No. To me, the biggest crime against a horror film isn't if it's scary or not, it's if it's boring, and this film was that. Oh and those last "15 minutes". nothing. happened. i was so disappointed 5/10

Saw the movie before the trailers, and the trailers have next to NOTHING to do with the movie, other than the fact they're being haunted. Anyways, I didn't see the first or second movies, so I am not following very well, but from what I've gathered, it's the "brainwashed" women that are being followed, and one of these girls is going to have a son, so is it over with him? Or is there something that happens to him in the other two that I missed? Anyways, wasn't anything unexpected, but not bad.

@cjay7777 Now we appreciate you saying you like our style but to be honest, find that statement that we didn't se the movie, highly offensive. Not sure if you are new to the channel or not, but our goal isn't to please studios. We review movies for average people like us. As far as the trailer, we use clips from the trailer that is available on line. We don't spoil the film, we talked about the scares and if you didn't like the review, that is one thing. But the fact that we saw this screening

I like your format and it's cool but I have to call BS. In your "review" you don't cite any specifics to make us think you actually saw the movie that was released. You have cut scenes from the previews released that aren't even in the movie. This clip feels like it's part of a viral marketing scheme by the movie distribution company. Don't you think it odd that the reviewers just gush over the movie by talking about how scared it made them but avoid talking about the actual movie?

@ruko110 I actually liked it, because some movie trailers are just wayyyyy too revealing and often showcase the only good parts in the movie. It's especially bad when trailers show people dying or key plot details that, if anything, should be gradually revealed in the viewing of the movie. By doing what they did with this movie's trailers, I think it brought an element of surprise that you wouldn't normally get, unless you avoided seeing movie trailers altogether.

@Taisonsvlog90210 I completely agree. Skip this shit and see the first two. Now THOSE are scary. They were involved without becoming too over-the-top, they were entertaining throughout, and were just competently made movies. The third brings absolutely nothing to the table and just leaves you wanting more, which in this case, is bad.

@schmoesknow ok schmoes, i know im 2 months too late with this but, the reason them "leaving the house" because of the DEMON, not ghost, is pretty pointless is because the demon follows katie and her sister wherever they go. this was established in the first movie. even that doc guy points it out.

One of my favorite parts was when the dude gets into a debate with his assistant about the title of Back to the Future. It's such an obvious joke, but they played it like it was really subtle. Maybe he was talking about Back to the Future II though, the trailers for it must have come out by then.

I can safley say that The paranormal activity films are probably my favourite scary movies. After seeing the third last night and not being able to sleep at all I think this movie did its job! I was a bit confused how most of the stuff in the trailer diddnt happen in the film :S

i liked how the first one started out slow, didnt really have a story and never showed the demon, thats what made it so good to me because it was more realistic. When horror movies start explaining things and showing what the bad guy looks like all the creepiness goes away.

Ever scince I watched this (october 18) I think of my house differently and I feel different. I talk to people that I can't see. It's weird.............. But I will say, Kristi is an AWESOME actor for her age shes like 5? I think and how does she remeber those lines.

If you pay more attention to the dates on the tapes you would notice that number three stops on the 15th but in the trailer it shows what happens afterwords like two days later. The tapes not shown in the third installment might be shown in the upcoming forth

It was. It was an awesome movie! The only thing that still gets me about these kind of films is the fact that they keep recording, even when they're scared out of their minds. That's only after I think back on the movie though. It was really intense.

i really like this movie, it did the job it was suppose to do. the only thing i wasn't so pleased about was that the info as to why the paranormal activity is occurring for this family is not revealed as fast as i would like (and as much either).

these must be deleated scenes i never saw katie jump off the top floor and if the mom saw that why did they wait so long to leave oh but know sudden kitchen appliances dissapearing then falling from the ceiling was enough to freak her out

Now a sell out split into two games, both of which at the same price as the single one before the split just for the devs to rip you off. Not to mention still haven't fixed them fucking bugs. Definitely wouldn't recommend it now.

Upgraded spear is fairly mediocre in combat. It does quite a lot of damage but you can't block. It's more useful to hunt birds, rabbits, lizards, opening cases, collecting sticks, leaves etc.
