sigh.... "punk before punk was punk". The Ramones were playing punk in 1974 (when they played their first show). Death is an AMAZING band but they certainly weren't playing "punk before punk was punk".

Death started playing Punk back in 1971. Before the Ramones. if it wasn't for them not changing their names, they would have been the first big punk band. Especially here in the U.S.
