From the time I first got on board this campaign I have always been impressed with Senator Obama's knowledge of the facts and clear focus on what is needed to solve our problems. This was a very good choice by the Obama campaign. Biden has the experience, has a good stance on foreign policy, is a good debater, has a good history, and doesn't take shit. As an environmentalist, I'm proud to support Obama and his dream for this country.

Democrats haven't "controlled congress" or been in a position to end bush tax cuts for the rich. Repuds have set records for obstruction since president Obama took office. Republicans demanded that bush tax cuts for the rich be extended. They threatened to default on Americas debt, and shut down all government functions if their demands were not met. This was an extraordinarily dangerous threat. They should have all been impeached, but their constituency is too stupid to know the difference.

He identified the problem early, which is the Citizens United decision. He told the people we needed campaign finance reform, but most Americans are not intellectually sophisticated enough to grasp the concept so they focus on symptoms of the disease instead.

All of the credible economists I know of, Paul Krugman for example wrote an excellent book about ending this depression as he calls it, and its not by spending cuts. America can currently borrow interest free, the infrastructure is crumbling. America needs to start by passing fair tax laws and borrow to rebuild. That would generate more money in the economy than the initial investment. Republican obstruction has kept America in a depression on purpose, all for their political strategy.

no the new law does not lower the price of health care at all. if it does it's only directed towards the people below the poverty line. we are in debt and obviously the only way to lower our debt is to spend more money? this disastrous healthcare law will speed up inflation and create incentive for private sectors to leave. the only ones that benefit from this new law are people that can't afford healthcare. luckily i don't need the government to take care of me
