+xpressva I didn't mean this particular call was a strike. I can't tell if it was or wasn't from this angle. i'm just assuming it was in the strike zone because the ump called it a strike. i'm just merely pointing out the fact that had it been a strike even though the ball hit her, it's still a strike. and if it was it's a dead ball strike. I don't know how you didn't freak out on the HP ump... he didn't see it? he saw it. he had to watch he ball all the way until it hit her, how did he not see it? he didn't want to make the call.

+reaper creeper I did ask the home plate umpire and he said he did not see the play. And the ball was not close to the strike zone. The strike zone is the strike zone... she was not in the strike zone. Watch the catcher's mitt when she goes to catch the ball.

+xpressva it doesn't matter where the bat is or what she did with the bat. the ball was IN the strike zone no matter what. it's a dead ball strike. the home plate ump should have called it a strike before she hit the ground, called time and then let her coach tend to her. now what would have me pissed off is the douchebag field ump making the call over me if I was the home plate ump. my guess is the asshole in the field was the head ump. but still, he upstaged his partner. even if he knew the right call, it's not his job to call it. it's the home plate umpire's decision to make a call and his partner should have his back right or wrong. now there is your argument. YOU (or the coach actually) should have asked the home plate ump what the call was. the field ump could pull him aside between innings and told him what he thought, just not blurt it out like that. man i'd be fuming if that happened. yes, I am an umpire and yes I have called plenty of dead ball strikes just like this one. I understand a kid got hit, but the strike zone is the strike zone after all.

these are adults shouldn't they behave its not up to umpires to handle your crying bs as this video happens after it happens and i have hard time belling these playing are even telling the full truth

+tictac020 Yeah it wasn't a very big tournament, I think there were 10 or 11 teams. We went 2-0 to start off then got our 1st loss in the undefeated's game and then lost the next game after that.

Well if I see y'all, I will say whats up man. I think I am just playing co-ed. I don't think any of the mens team I play for are going up there to San Angelo. Hobbs I can always jump on a team there
