As an aside, I am half way though Archyra's book on Moses, and I am continually dissappointed with her so called evidence.For instance, she mentions the plague of darkness and states that this is not mentioned in the historical record. But it is, and in the right context too. The three days of darkness are mentioned on the Tempest Stele of Ahmose I, the pharaoh of the Hyksos Exodus out of Egypt. And this era is also coincident with the eruption of Thera. So the Exodus account mentions an ashfall, darkness, and a tsunami - all of which are consistent with the Thera eruption. The Tempest Stele also mentions similar events, and includes lage 'quotations' from the Torah about the building of the Tabernacle. And all of this was at the time of the great Hyksos Exodus out of Egypt, which Josephus says was the Israelite Exodus out of Egypt. What more evidence do you want? And it you do want more, it is all included in the book 'Tempest & Exodus'.Ralph
