This movie was banned in Egypt, India and other Eastern countries because of it's false portrayal of Egyptians as pale white and I'm glad. I told every body that I could to boycott it. The movie industry is constantly portraying the ancient Black people of history as white.when they were not . From Indians to Brazilians to The Aztecs ,add infinitum. Maybe producers will take a lesson from this but I doubt it .

There is no redeeming quality in this movie? Come on! You are missing the point, while also doing your business for Youtube concensus audience- this movie is original. Name me one mainstream movie about gods in egypt and egypt mythology in the last 15 years (after Mummy 1 and 2). If you prefer generic Marvel movies, fine. But don't pretend to give a professional opinion if you miss the movie's main selling point- its originality. Open your eyes to other cultures and mythologies. How many times have you seen Hator, Set and Horus in a movie? And the after life in egypt mythology? Don't say after that studios make only super hero movies. Sad times we live.
