Yes, thank you. I've already checked that out a long time ago. But, the docors said my liver wouldn't handle the medication. There's always something new coming out! Actually, as my doc says: "It's not the virus that's killing you, it's the cirrhotic liver." SO, I'm not really that concerned about the "Viral Load".....which, by the way has dropped from 968,000 to 654,000, since taking the BHT about three months. BUT, it temporarily thins your blood, so. who knows? I'll just live till I die!

I've never done anything else that would give me the disease. SO, here I am in the GREAT AMERICA, Texas even, and can get NO financial help anywhere. Times are hard as everyone knows, and I can just barely pay my bills. I know other countries have great help for people in these situations, I just wish I was there. Looks like a dead end for me. And I mean DEAD.

Lucky you. I'm an American , I have no insurance, and recently found out that I have Hep C. Doc said I've had it "20 years". 21 years ago I was in St. Croix USVI rebuilding after hurricane Hugo in 1989. I had an accident and had surgery in the "salvation army tent hospital" that was set up on the island. It was here I contracted Hep C.

i too live in europe(holland) and getting soon the new therapy for free,i would say my friend vote OBAMA and hoop some day health insurance its a right and not PRIVATE buisness!! wish you all luck! you should look at (vertex site) and other trials on your area there are many new stuff being made for hep c.good luck!

congrats!! I recently found that i have hepc, after being hospitalized in December when i was hit by car on the interstate here in the U.S. I hope to beat this disease also.

Hi I am type 1 with hep c and I will be starting treatment next year in sept after my wedding but I am so worried ill go through all that pain for a 55% chance of clearing

Been threw the treatment took alpha liopc acid ,Biotin + all the normal milk thistle Pot Brownies , those sure helped . Diagnose with Geno type 3e, Disputed my genotype , blood work showed no hep c ???Houston is an epicenter , man have lost so many friend fearful of being tested , dumb just dumb , get tested . They said I had it since the 60s and did have a friend now dead , he became a jehovah witness , to much acid , that was '69 , he abstained from everything , still died .

my husband started pegasys(sp?) treatment about 2 mths. ago now and he is already bipolar and depressed and it seems like its making him worse as far as mentally is this normal and going to get better does anyone know? We have 3 kids and i am getting ready to have to put him out of our home its getting so bad. Help if anyone knows? THanks.

Hi IVK, Good pair of videos! I was diagnosed last year (2008) with hepc 1a, apparently picked it up in the 70's and now my liver's packing up due to the cirrhosis. Starting treatment soon ... look's like a rough ride and quite likely it won't even clear ... hey ho. Don't be isolated though, there's thousands of us out here :)

Good luck with the treatment. Have you ever heard of hep D ? It comes from Hep B and it gets the heart. My friend is dieing in the hospital right now from it. It gets 1 in 15 million world wide. WTF!!! How did she become the 1 in the 15 million?
