If you route tracks 1, 2, 3 and 4 to track 5, then all those tracks(1 to 4)
will be send to the master channel twice. How do you fix this?
I don't want my volume to double when I route my samples to another track.
You can only fix this if your effects have dry/wet knob and you put it to
100% wet.
+man oneoneninetwoeightzerothree When you route them to track 5, click "route to this track ONLY". This means it will go to 5 and then to the master. It will only go to the master once.
Hey W.A.Production, I like your video! They are very useful! But I have a
request.. if it is possible, can you talk about the master channel in the
next video?? Thank you so much! You're amazing!
+Mr. Wendigo You should start designing your own sounds bro, It's these little things that help define your own sound overall. Just saying you can tell a track was made by Flume because he has his own sound. Using presets can make you sound generic. My advice to get you into sound design, watch more videos like these and then start changing the sound to your personal liking, you could do the same with presets. Just experiment, that's all music really is - experimentation with rhythm and sound :) Oh and remember to save your sounds! you never know when you may need to use them again.
+3steban Check out my "Sound Explained" video about DC Offset if you're unfamiliar with what DC Offset is. If you know what DC Offset is, open a spectrum analyzer and use Sytrus to play a pulse wave similar to what I have here without converting it to sine harmonics. You should see a presence on the spectrum at 0 Hz from the waveform, which is the offset, and this isn't very good to have in a mix. Converting it to sine harmonics eliminates this problem.
