I like Ferrari and am gonna probably take this one. I see that there is too much people who don't like cause its Shift 2 engine, dislike handeling too. Have you ever seen the handeling of drivers in a real race? it's like in a game 9 hours 15 or maybe you want the GT5 and Forza graphics for all race games? Shift 2 gameplay is pretty nice (probably same in this one) just search for simulation settings and try with wheel if you want to feel the real sensations of racing. stop to criticize

Slightly Mad no doubt knows how to make a killer LOOKING title. Both Shift titles look amazing. However.., if the physics engine in this title is the same as Shift-2 Unleashed, and if it has the same OVER AGGRESSIVE physics defying (adaptive AI) found in Unleashed, I'm passing on it. Slightly Mad was certainly on to something with Shift-1. They really dropped the ball with Shift-2. MAYBE with Atari as the publisher we'll see better support for the title though. Only time will tell.

I hope they've figured out the flaws of shift 2 and so that way, the handling won't be as bad. They're capable of making good racing physics, they just royally fucked up with shift 2. I played CARS, it's a simulator they're working on, it's good, and realistic. I think the problem is they suck at making games that will handle good with steering wheels and controllers, because CARS is made just for the steering wheels and it works fine. Hope they stop fucking up seriously

we've got at least a year before that happens. and you won't forget about it. the only games I forget about when GT5 came out was all the previous GT's. Same with shift, when shift 2 came out I deleted Shift 1 from my hard drive but This is another game entirely and i'll be playing it after GT6 comes out just like I still play ferrari challenge long after GT5 came out

This game is a huge disappointment . It looks bad .., nothing like the trailer or in game footage on you tube . I mean ps 2 bad . The handling model is still like shift unleashed or maybe even worse . And it's fucking dull . What a shame . I was actually looking forward to rip around the nordschleife in a 70's F1 . Got it today .., will return it tomorrow .

To be fair, this looks almost exactly like Shift 1 with the Ferrari DLC. Both graphics and physics come right out of Shift 1 (with some minor tweaks). I don't get why they are gonna release this game? Beside the F1 cars, we have seen all of this already. I guess Slightly Mad studios needs some more money to finish Project CARS.

try simraceway,its online and free adn you need a wheel,in the 5th gear Tiff Needell have a test witch game is near to the real thing with some serious gaming equipment (grand turismo,sim race,need for speed,dirt 3,grid..,),and this guy drive many supercars,his favorites are simraceway and dirt3.

Handling looks looks exactly the same as Shift 2.... which is not a good thing.. but will still get it to drive those old f1 cars :) wish the handling would be better though, back end slides out too much with no power and doesnt feel very precise like forza or gt5

nice graphics... but only graphics don't get the game to awesomeland... now do it in a burnout paradise (open city... make your way to the finish line) style and you'll have a WIN... circuit and indestructible cars... kinda sucks.

hey squeadkD , I totally agree with You. However Slightly mad studios hired Ben Collins(former stig) to educate them towards better driving engine, I will however wait to read more serious reviews once the game is released.

You should really just stick to GRID and keep playing it...that's the only truest and most realistic racing game I've ever played. It's just a shame XBL servers are no longer around. Don't buy this crap.

It looks nice, but I would rather see a DLC for Shift 2 unleashed instead of releasing a game with a full price. Plus, it's only Ferrari, no free roam etc. Perhaps I'll get it when its price will drop.

They should have put the helmet feature like in shift 2 (one of the brilliant new pro in immersion in my opinion, I wish all new racing car game had that).

Lol, TDU2 is one of the best simulations up to date. They were just inappropriately placed as a racing game thus making a whole lot of people angry.
