Countdown to Sonic Generations Part 9 - Planet Wisp
READ: I did not record this (obviously by date), Gameplay recorded by Dreadknux of Sonic Stadium. With Sonic Generations getting closer and closer, I will be ...
@DS Looks like Unleashed? Wow...sounds like a Nintendo fanboy's attempts to
make the Wii look good, quite frankly, SEGA is one of the FEW companies
I've seen do a decent work on the wii, graphically that is...but that's
still not enough, it doesn't come close to the 360/PS3, and it certainly
won't compete against Microsoft and Sony's newer consoles...and back to the
game, it's uncreative...basically make the Unleashed formula worse and
stick in some random powers while at it...to make sonic SLOW
@LunarSonic Actually, I am not overly excited to see Sonic colors or
unleased in Generations. It's not that they are bad games; in fact, I love
them both. It's just that neither feel like a 'blast to the past'. Plus,
and yes I know this is a stupid reason but, I do not like the BGM for this
level... There I said it. BUT, I am definitely excited to see how they
might include the wisps in Classic and Modern Sonic's interpretation of
this level in Generations. It will certainly be interesting
@CNASNProductions No, I'm saying it because it's my favorite Sonic game and
it's extremely fun to play. I don't give a shit about reviews when I choose
my games, I enjoyed Unleashed too despite the werehog just because the day
stages are fun enough. And well, the scores were mostly too low imo. It got
like 8/10 overall, and personally I believe it deserves a 9. Then again, we
all have separate opinions, you don't have to act like the average youtube
butthurt about that.
@DinerSals Look, I'm sick of your attitude towards me...the fact is, this
game slows Sonic down a LOT, why? Wisp Power, tryingt to imitate Mario yet
again...plus we all know the Wii's a crappy system...it won't be able to
process levels like the gorgeous 360 Unleashed version, in other
words...this is a watered down Unleashed with terrible humor, horrid
script, and overall too short, I hope Generations will do better...no, I'm
SURE it will, it's on 360/PS3 after all...
@LotsaSpaghetti84 Your forgetting that Sonic Colors Planet Wisp is broken
down into like 6 different short levels and in generations there are only 2
acts. They tried to put everything together in one big level. For example
Planet Wisp in the original was like 6 levels with Sonic moving closer to
the generator thing eggman was using to hold the planet. In generations
planet wisp, modern sonic is moving up toward the generator thing at the
end of the level.
@DinerSals It's not just that...the game has a horrid dialogue with the
lamest puns I've seen in a video game, plus it's too short, and the levels
are short as well..this was a bad way to "improve" over the Unleashed
formula, it just ruined everything....ironically game reviewers liked this
mess...they were probably orgasming over Mario since the wisps reminded
them of that and decided to give it a good score...
@RockRulez124 9?! say wha? Did you burp 1,000 times and then got hit in the
head by a loony nurse? HAHAHA! Not funny, that comes close the actual
script of this game, it's horrid, the day stages from Unleashed have been
ruined on this, making them slower, constantly stopping to use STUPID
powers, and overall the game was mostly 2D, not cool, this is a watered
down unleashed, end of story...
It looks like SEGA knows how to pick Levels. I played Sonic Colors and
while it was Short, not to mention, Short Acts.... They picked a great
level from Colors to represent in Generations. Talk about that Music,
soothing. Plus, I didn't like the 2D/3D. Now that they'll have Separate 2D
& 3D. I'll enjoy the 3D one.
why can't all wii games look like this? iv'e seen wi games that make this
game look 100% next gen despite the 480i/p resolution (although NVIDIA
PHYSX is a newer kind of technology in this game, and the ATI Hollywood in
the Wii requiring lots of optimizations for the best performance and
quality)
Planet wisp...one of the FEW good zones in that game...the others felt like
a mario galaxy ripoff...especially including wisp power...oh well, this
game will be nothing once Generations recreates the only good area in this
game, you bet planet wisp's gonna kick mayor ass in a REAL console...
@DinerSals Getting worked up over the facts won't help you...calm down
first, but I wonder why you would waste your time defending such a crappy
sequel...just let it go, Generations is on the way...that way, we can
forget about how lame Colors was, or ColoUrs for the britfags.
@SirKoto51 Consider the Following: Sega decided to take you to Planet Wisp
stick his fat kester in it. It's now 10x more beautiful, the music has been
remixed, and a tear of happiness just went down your eye. Would you prefer
something better then?
@SirKoto51 It's SEGA's way of covering ALL 20 years of Sonic, and during
those years, Unleashed and Colors were there. Finally, PS3 and 360 owner
who are Sonic fans will stop complaining (somewhat) since Planet Wisp is in
Generations.
@LREHAnimation its not going to be on the Wii BUT sega said that if the
current versions of generations sell well they are going to port
generations to the Wii U and release it at launch with better graphics and
other stuff.
@FrizAtHome Sonic Generations is not comming out for Wii! This video shows
"Sonic Colours" which IS out for wii. Sonic Generations will be using this
STAGE as one of it's levels, but it is still only out for PS3/XBOX/3DS (PC)
@7chaoemerald I've played the game on Wii, and I now see that porting the
game to PS3 and 360 is a BAD idea. The game is too short to be a PS3/360
game. It's almost too short to even be a Wii game.
@Themisteryification i guess since this game was only for the Wii more work
was put into it making it like the PS3 version of unleashed, would of been
cool to have this game on PS3 though
@FrizAtHome sonic generation isn't, this is sonic colors (Which is
awsome!), this level will be in sonic generations.. but i do recomend if
you havent playing sonic colors
Planet Wisp is going to be in Sonic Generations, according to the level
list that the demo hackers found. It'll be complete with the pink spike
wisp and orange rocket wisp.
@washingtondevin67 I know! Let it go! Sheesh. I accept everything. And I'm
getting a 360 for my birthday. So everything should be cool. If not, then I
don't give a damn!
