My fiancee and I plan to get married. I am an american citizen and I am
separated for more than 2 years and my divorce will be final next week. Is
being married during the time that we me each other affect the K1 visa
approval? Can I file the K1 visa after the divorce? We have evidence that
we have a relationship and a constant communication and I supported her.
She kept all those receipts as a proof that we met already and we have a
bunch of photos together. Our relationship is almost a year already and I
am separated for more than 2 years. Can you give as a brilliant idea on how
to deal with this?
Hope for your response

The Visa Hour proudly presents Fiancé(e) Visas. Join us LIVE on May 7, 2015 3pm – 4pm (Philippine Standard Time). Consular officers will answer online ...
I am writing this letter because I can not get any satisfaction by calling
your Citizenship and Passport team service or Call Center line. Your
processing system is broken and has been down since 9 June 2015, no one
seem to care. I understand that this process of obtaining a Visa is very
important, but when a person meet all the requirements something should be
done to complete the process.
I called from American and talked to one of your call center individuals 28
July 2015 at 1130 PM and still can not get an answer or status on my wife's
visa.
My wife attended a seminar in Manila today 28 July 2015 at 0800 for travel
to the United States and were told by several people at the seminar that
they had received their visas and they were interviewed after her.
If your system for processing visas has been repaired why are people that
were interviewed after my wife in July 2015, getting Visas in front of
those people process in June 2015?
Good day! Thank you for taking time to answer this question.
Q re joint sponsor’s affidavit of support (if needed in the I-130 visa
application by the petitioning American spouse): Can the joint sponsor be a
resident of any US state? Or, should he/she be a current resident of the
destination state of the petitioner (American spouse) and the Filipino
spouse?
Have a blessed Thursday! :) #TheVisaHour
Hello! Thank you for this opportunity! What are the docs that needs to be
in original form and personally signed for the supporting documents for
form I-134 (affidavit of support). Does my fiance have to have his HR sign
his certification of employment? His bank also just supplied him a copy of
all his statements but are unsigned. Would this suffice? Please advise.
#TheVisaHour
To whom it may concerned,
I Jasmin Krizette Casimiro King, wanted to follow up again the status of my
visa. I already send to 2Go courier my NBI with A.K.A. Last June 18,2015.
And my cenomar already got the U.S. embassy at macapagal avenue Serbilis
NSO. My Interview was June 9,2015. I'm worried about my visa. Thank you and
Godbless.
Out of curiosity, why is there such a large discrepancy on processing time
between the CSC, TXC, and VSC? Based on timeline trends on several sites
regarding K1 visas, apparently CSC is the fastest of the 3? #TheVisaHour
My interview was last month june 9,2015. And until now i didnt receive/got
my visa. I cant wait to got my visa and passport. Please response. Thank
you. #TheVisaHour

Obama Slams Fiancé Visa After San Bernardino Shooting
President Obama has ordered the US Department of Homeland Security and the State Department to review the the K-1 fiance visa program following reports ...
"Our State Dept. is competent"?! Who let in the 9/11 terrorists? Or the
Tsarnaev brothers? Or these two from San Bernardino? IMO, it's time to stop
all visas from Muslim countries until our current troubles are concluded
with them. Even if it's only a few in several thousand, we can't acquiesce
to the deaths of Americans at their hands. If Obama doesn't know who the
enemy is, we certainly do.
+Leo Ahmed. You Leo is the one spreading misinformation. Just who killed the people in San Bernadino? Was it Amish,no it was Islamists. Who killed over 130 in Paris 2 weeks ago? Buddhist? No it was Islamists again. The American people and the West for that matter is tiring of Muslim attacking people every other day in one country or another, yesterday it was a Muslim attacking people in the London tube, last Friday health workers in Sand Bernadino, a week before that a Hotel attack by Muslims in Africa, then the Paris attacks by Islamist in Paris several weeks ago, So stop spreading misinformation, and people are not believing your Islamic apologetic anymore.
+BrotherWoody1 We Are Being Divided And Conquered, we are being programmed to regard our brothers and sisters as our greatest enemies, Please try not to let yourselves be fooled by misinformation. Question everything!
+Leo Ahmed. Then people can live in peace without religion. Religion says my religion is true religion and you are in Infidel. The world would be a much better place without religion. We don't have the kinds of myths that ancient people had, we don't need them except for entertainment, do you feel like the world is less without the Greek gods Apollo? Thor? Ra? Sun gods? I mean really grow up, we don't need to make fantasies.
+Leo Ahmed. no more idiots killing themselves and others so they can get into heaven... and no more child molestation and rape, that's all religious people too, now go blow yourself up but make sure you do it in a mosque.
+Leo Ahmed. there it is. this is the reason islam is so dangerous, as soon as you become offended at the intolerance of others you become a problem. All people who believe there is a better life waiting for them when they die are inherently dangerous, but anyone who can't take the disbelief of others in stride becomes a problem, as muslims have been proving over and over for years. I'll let muslims into my country without regret when they are willing to burn their holy books at the border, if they can do that without collecting into an angry mob, they deserve to be free.
+randall2020 if you were a muslim you would know that there are two sources of Shariah: The Quran, which Muslims consider to be the literal word of God; and the “Sunnah,” the divinely guided tradition of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh. also you don't have to insult the religions of half the world because you don't agree with them.“When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”― Socrates
+Leo Ahmed. There multiply sources of Islam for people to read from, I suggest people read the literal translation which is full of Mohamed commanding Islamist's to conquer and kill the Infidel. Which is all Non Muslims. So yeah it get it from the horses mouth so to speak. ISIS has clearly declared war on west. it is very clear.Islam is a the 21st century version of Nazisim, the most intolerant Ideology/Religion on the planet and Muslims will always lie about it so best for people to read the Koran and Hadith themselves to see what a barbaric and stone age Religion it is. All religions is wacked out mythology, Islam just happens to be the worse of the worst. the Perfect religion for Psychopaths.
+valhala56 . Before reading about Islam on the Internet, try to determine if the information being presented is an accurate portrayal of islam and the Muslim world, if you don't, you are simply furthering the government’s march towards war.
+Leo Ahmed. The Internet is the greatest knowledge bank or library the world has ever seen, all of Islam is on the Internet, so yes westerners can easily peruses the ancient bronze age mythology and delusions of a Religion and ideology that makes normal people go kill crazy. Islam is a still stuck in the 7th century. So are you going to tell me that Islam is secular and democratic? Please go ahead and lie and say that it is. The truth of islam is coming out fro the world to see.
+Tommy Latham Cowardice asks the question - is it safe? Expediency asks the question - is it politic? Vanity asks the question - is it popular? But conscience asks the question - is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular; but one must take it because it is right. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
+valhala56 ok, but what do you know about sharia, have you read the Quran, talked to a muslim about their ideology and what they believe in, the only way to understand each other is by getting outside our social bubble keeping an open mind and talk to one another.
+Leo Ahmed. You need to seek knowledge, The US would not allow North Koreans to bumrush into the United States, we would be very skeptical of North Koreans, and there is nothing wrong with that. I respect people fine, but if their ideology is not compatible with western secular democracy then we should not and will not allow them to come here. They want Sharia then go to Sharia countries. It is not that complicated.
+Tommy LathamPlease seek knowledge, anddon't spread hate, about what you don't knowif you don't agree with anyone who follows Islamyou should at least respect them as fellow human beingsIt is not that complicated
+Tommy Latham Yes it is pretty simple isn't it. We are at war, don't let the enemy in. Wow LOL. In WW2 the American people would have been slightly pissy is Immigration was allowing Nazi Germans to immigrate to US enmasse. People also forget WW2 for the US was 1941-1945. 4 years. We have been at war with Radical Islam from 2001 to now 2015 and the war has just started picking up with the enemy just now going on the offensive. Note: In history, German sleeper cells when captured by US were executed during WW2.

K1 Visa Process (Fiancé Visa): Step 2 with SezStyle
Watch as SezStyle continues to teach more about the K1 Fiancé Visa process, and how to bring your lovely foreign Fiancé to America. All the information is from ...
+TeneseKidCooper I'm not exactly sure how it works with other countries, but for the Philippines you can pay for the interview immediately once your receive the NVC case number. I would research if you can do this as well, considering that you don't want to wait for any part of this process... because they will keep you waiting without any notice :) Do your research via visajourney.com... I'm guessing you can probably pay for your interview immediately since you have your number. Best of luck!
+DanielCMM Yes, I took screen grabs of my chat conversations... and then I pasted them into a powerpoint deck. I only took about two conversations per month, so it ends up not being too many pages :)
my fiancé have already received the nvc number, do i have to wait for the
manila case number, or is it the same? and when do i pay for the interview??
is paying for the interview same with the visa apllication?
its making me confuse. thanks for your help in advance.
+chel cruz If he received the case number from NVC you should be all set to pay for the interview. You'll know if this is the right number because it starts with the three letters "MNL" followed by some numbers. Once you have that case number, you can immediately go to any BPI bank to pay for your interview. Don't forget to bring the deposit slip and correct amount of money. Best of luck!
+Stephanie Bacharo Great, my pleasure :) Congrats on getting your NOA2, as that's the most inefficient part of the process... the rest moves relatively quickly. Best of luck!
We already recieved our NOA2 can we just go ahead and booked our interview
with out the confirmation letter from the NVC and all we need is the case
number cause i heared you need to wait for the packet which includes on
what documents to prepare im confuse about this things can you help me if
we need to wait for the letter from the nvc or just get the case number and
booked for the interview and do the medical
+Stephanie Bacharo Great question! Are you from the Philippines? I know if you're the beneficiary in the Philippines, there is no packet. Once you call NVC and get your case number, then you can immediately go to BPI bank to pay for your interview. I think there's about a 4 - 8 hour delay after paying for the interview, but after that delay you can go online and immediately book your interview via the online system. After you book your interview, you do NOT need to wait for the letter from NVC. That letter can be delayed, or never even come. You might want to email the NVC to confirm your case number, as that email can be used instead of the letter... but really you don't need that either. We brought the interview confirmation paper, and told St. Lukes (the medical) that we received the case number by phone. They were okay with this.
+Kawika Canterbury Yes, after you pay for your interview fee via BPI bank... they give you a receipt of payment. You MUST keep this receipt as it's very important for the following steps. If you lose the receipt, it cannot be replaced and you'll need to pay again.
k1 fiance visa timeline
2015 June.. What is going on with the timeline? why is USCIS taking so long? And what should I do if it is taking longer. Advice on USCIS and completing the ...
Hey Yuri! nice to meet u too! I got my Noa 1 pretty fast. turned in I129f
March 21 and just got noa2 on August 31st.... I finally got my case number
from NVC today.
+Flora Gonzalez Hi flora sorry for my late respond . Been busy here.Did u do ur ds 160? This is the normal process of what you need to do next. This is for philippines. BUt the process of fiance visa overall is similar to all foreign countries. The difference is that they might schedule the interview for you. The US embassy will also send you a instruction that wil serve as your guide on what you need to do next. //efilipinowomen.com/?s=k1+visa+guide+
+Sofiy Mohd hello sorry for my late response Other US embassies will set the appointment for you. I am nt sure about how they do it in UAE but other countries have different procedure once the Case number is given. Some US embassies set the schedule and send you an email when they are ready.Sometimes it is National visa center that set a schedule for you depending on what kind of visa you have,.
+Ilse Fm hi!. thank you :-) I wish you all the best too. And goodluck with your fiance visa:-)
K1 Visa Process (Fiancé Visa): Step 3 with SezStyle
Learn about the extensive visa medical exam in part 3 of the K1 visa process with SezStyle. All foreign fiancés must undergo a medical exam prior to coming to ...
Hello Seth & Lynn, First, I want to thank you both SO much for putting your
videos on here and on your website. They have been, and are, an incredible
help to those of us weaving the maze of the Fiance' visa process. My
Filipino girl, Maria Fe, and I have had an Internet/chat relationship for
10 years (must be something of a record). A few years ago we started the
fiance' visa process, but were flatly denied due to our not having met the
'meet in person within 2 years' requirement. Kiss that $340 good-bye. I had
to cure some phobias of flying, water, and, well, others. We then tried to
get a tourist visa (so I wouldn't have to fly there) we were denied because
"we were in the system as already trying the fiance' visa." I didn't much
care for that denial of Fe's 'right to travel' (apparently, not really a
'right'). Long story short, facing my fears, I finally made the trip to
Manila this past September, and we have now gotten through all the initial
application processes and are up to the medical and interview. Fe keeps
asking me when she can "schedule" the medical, and I keep saying (as your
video points out) that, no, we need to schedule the INTERVIEW
first...because...in part (and please clarify for us)...the medical needs
to be within 5-7 days of the interview. If you did the medical first, you
might not get the interview scheduled within this time frame, and if there
was a problem with the medical you would have to reschedule the interview,
something they don't like to do. Is that correct? Also, it is my
understanding that you cannot "schedule" the medical, meaning they don't
take appointments. Instead it is first-come, first-serve, so, like Lynn,
you need to go down at the crack of dawn and hope yo get through it all in
one day. Correct, again?
You two make an adorable couple and you have inspired us beyond words to
endure this whole fiance' visa process. It isn't easy; it hasn't been for
us. But with your help and coaching, you have eased a tremendous amount of
anxiety. And, of course, stony limits, or 8,000 miles of ocean, cannot keep
love out. I cannot thank you both enough.
Take care ~~~~ jeff
+Jeffrie Bond Our pleasure :) Glad you've found our videos informative and useful during the visa process. Yep, the U.S. rules of a Filipino citizen visiting on a tourist visa are extremely strict. I've heard that something like 95% are denied. In regards to your question about the medical, no, you can do the medical anytime before your interview, as long as your interview is already scheduled... but just make sure it's AT LEAST 5 - 7 days before, so there's enough time for your medical records to be sent to the embassy. But you can do it earlier than 5-7 days if you prefer. To your point, you cannot schedule an appointment for the medical at St. Lukes Medical... they only do "walk-ins". Make sure Fe gets there very early (at like 4am) as it's going to be a long day. And yes, you need to schedule the interview first in order to take your medical exam. It's a backwards process considering if something goes wrong with your medical, then you will need to reschedule your interview. Here's the steps: pay for your interview at BPI bank... once you pay, go online and schedule the interview at the U.S. embassy... after your interview is scheduled, then make sure to do the medical at least 5 - 7 days prior to her interview appointment (just walk in). Keep in mind there is an online registration form (downloaded via St. Lukes Website) you can fill out prior to walking into the medical, which will help the medical go a bit faster since you would have already filled out all your personal information (this is not required). Thanks for all your kind words and for supporting our channel. We wish you and Fe the best of luck with the remainder of your K1 Visa process... and just remember, you're very close! Although it can be a painful and inefficient process... it's well worth it in the end :) Take care my friend.
hiii.. i hve met my bf through online.. n we will meet by February when I
got home.. he wanted to bring me in the USA... I watched d k1 visa
process.. but k wonder cos it says there that we must meet in person for
the past two yrs.. which is we just do meeting by gods help on February...
so do we still need to wait bfor applying k1 visa after two years f we meet
this february????
Thnxxx my dear..... I got an idea... Actually my batch mate in college gave me already steps on how can my bf takes me from Philip. To USA by fiance visa.. But still I was searching some videos on utube... N here is it.. I had watched ur video.. N thanks for additional info my dear.. Gbu n ur family
+Kathleen Lagutan Thanks for watching our video! No, you do not need to wait two years. You just have had to meet your fiancé in person within the past two year period. Meet your boyfriend in february and take lots of pictures together, and especially family pictures together if you can. Also make sure he saves all his airline tickets/receipts, boarding passes, etc... as this is all proof of having met in person within the last two years. After he gets back home, you can apply immediately and then use all the photos and airline receipts as the support you need for the application. Best of luck!
i engaged to an american girl in 2015/9 USCIS just approved my application
in 20 working day now how much time it will take to go to NVC and then
embassy in canada. i am indian but studying in canada.
+Vishal kumar Once you get your case number, you should be able to go and pay for the interview (immediately). As you know, my wife is from the Philippines, so you'll have to research what bank you need to specifically go to pay in Canada. Once you pay for your interview, you can go online and schedule your interview. Once your interview is scheduled then you can go to your medical exam. It's all fairly quick from here on out. Best of luck!
+SezStyle hey friend i called NVC thank god they replied after 30 mins of hold. i got my invoice number and nvc case number what to do next . thank you
+Vishal kumar First off, congratulations on your application approval! Once your receive your NOA2 approval, it should take between 1 to 2 weeks for your application to arrive at NVC. Try calling after 1 week... if they still don't have it, call every few days, until it's received. Keep in mind you'll need to stay on hold for a very long time, as they receive high call volumes. Make sure when they finally have your application, that you get your Case number from them. With the case number, you can then pay for your interview and get the rest of the process going. I don't recall how long it takes for them to send it to the embassy, but if I remember correctly it's about 1 - 2 more weeks after NVC receives it. You can track it online (I can't remember the site). Best of luck my friend!
Hi Sezstyle. it's Ella again. i just wanna ask about the supporting
documents to the affidavit of support. what are the ones you got rather
than w-2 and pay stubs. did you have the form 1040? I wanna ask your email
if it's fine so I could ask questions whenever I get confused. i did all
the researching for my fiance. he's been working hard and doesn't have much
time to read about this so I did it 'cause he thought of wanting to hire a
attorney but I said no.
+Ella May Santos Yep, for the affidavit of support we brought 6 months pay stubs, W-2's, 1040 Tax Returns (3 years if you can), an Employment verification letter (a letter from employer stating his job title, salary, when he started, and that he's in good standing), and a printed note from the bank with your bank account balance. You probably don't need them all, but it wouldn't hurt :) You can email me directly at [email protected] or find us on Facebook (search SezStyle) and send me a personal message.
Hi Sezstyle. A very nice informative video you got here. i just wanna ask
if Lyn still waited for some letters coming from the US Embassy in Manila
about her scheduling her interview and her medical. or even if she didn't
receive a letter from the embassy as long as she got her case number she's
already good to go. Thank you in advance.
+SezStyle above all the videos that I have viewed before about this whole fiance visa process. this is the most helpful video I have ever seen. Thanks for the information. you two look cute together :') me and my fiance will have our petition sent next week, wish us luck. I could tell that you're a really nice person, no wonder Lyn fell so much in love with you. Stay strong as always you two, may Godbless your relationship.
+Ella May Santos Yep! Actually that did happen. Lyn was already here in the states prior to us receiving the letter from NVC with all the case number info and U.S. embassy letter stating you're ready for your interview. DO NOT WAIT or else you'll be wasting lots of time :) The letters are not necessary... the only thing you need is the case number by phone in order to completed your medical and interview process. For the medical, they will ask if you have the letter with your case number... you'll say you never received it, and you just called by phone to get it. This worked for us and for many others. If you are worried, it could be a good idea to email NVC and ask for your case number via email just to have it in writing... but we didn't do this.
+SezStyle can it happen that the letter that they're gonna send Lyn is taking to long that it got to the point the she already left the country without receiving the letter lol. so you're telling me that the letter isn't really much necessary and you could go finish the whole interview process without having that on hand.
+Ella May Santos Thanks for watching. We're glad you found our video useful :) No need to wait for the letter from NVC or the embassy, as they can take months to arrive. Once you call NVC and get your case number... you can immediately pay for your interview (BPI bank for Philippines). Then once you get the receipt of payment at the bank, you can almost immediately schedule your interview online (takes about 4 - 8 hours for payment to be recognized). When you have the interview scheduled, the medical can be done directly after. No need for an appointment to the medical, as they only accept walk-ins. Best of luck with your visa! :)
