@TRAXTINKERZ probably you need to know that maggot cheese is produced in many areas of europe, and this is not sardinian Casu Marzu (not italian, because in italy are different names to call this kind of cheese, that is made also in france)

I LOVE this movie and I completely agree with you, there's just something so great about it. Maybe it's the overall chemistry between the actors because the basic storyline, like you said, is so cheesy. The song at the end of the film is one of my favorites. Before I owned the film, they used to play it on Starz a lot and I literally taped the ending credits JUST for the song. Great review, btw. Lovely accent as well. :)

This is a fun movie. The young girl who played Jenna Junior was perfectly cast. I wouldn't have expected a movie of this type to be what Edward Norton would want to direct himself. But I guess it makes sense that for his first film, he'd choose something that wasn't too complex. Still, I'd like to see something edgier from him in the future...like "The Wedding Planner".

I've never seen this. I need to revisit a lot of Ben Stiller's earlier movies. I often wonder if letting the house go cold enough to store Walt Disney is worth the money saved by turning on a little heat. Two days ago it was 80 here (dropped to below freezing that same night), and where my parents live in Florida it was 85 when I spoke with them on Tuesday.

I enjoyed it. I have had crushes on both Ed Norton and Jenna Elfman at various points, so this film was like a comedic porno to me. I feel your cold pain. I chose my place because it's above an elderly couple. I planned to rob their heat and save on the bills. Yeah, that's not working out.

It's not the worst film ever made, it's one of those quite watchable movies that draws you in, like comfy old man slippers. Stiller & Norton are obviously pretty much the main reason for that. It's funny though the movies you like but sort of shouldn't, but then who says?
