im sorry but what is UC? and compatibility with the os? it runs perfectly fine not before i downloaded melaka's superset, but it's alright now since ive got it removed yesterday. thank u thou

+SheGamerxoThat's good. The one I use is under hood deco. If your computer isn't very strong that could be enough to make it crash without there being anything wrong since they can be a graphic hog. A sky mod I tried last year either didn't work well or crashed my game, the one I use now works fine on my system.

+Jossy Smith good news, the glitch thing is now gone when I removed the neighbourhood sky I had, I could barely see it anyway so I just took it out and its gone completely

+SheGamerxoAll challenges make exceptions for glitches. If it plays okay play on, but if you need to just move her out.

+Jossy Smith I can't move her out of there because it's against the rules....but I'll have no choice but to do it. The game has never crashed on the lot tho...just those weird blue things on the floor. As if it's a sky

+SheGamerxoNot sure on the water spots. if you feel the lot itself could be corrupted I would move her out and bulldoze it. Sometimes the game can hiccup on saving (always save and then exit, never do save on exit) or crash once and the lot can become corrupted.I hope it stops crashing, I would love to see a lot more of that challenge. :)

+Jossy Smith ohhhh well guess what, I've done a troubleshoot properly this time by deleting the cache files and it worked...I'm not running as if it's Windows 7 and it hasn't crashed but I'll test it properly whilst recording tomorrow to see if it crashes....but so far so good. It's just the only problem is that the lot I'm in for rags to riches has random water like spots on the floor outside but it's not water or holes...and I can't seem to get rid of it. And also I get random like lag spikes whilst rotating the camera but that's probably because I haven't played it for 5 days

+SheGamerxoIf you have no reason to switch to the UC there isn't any benefit in switching. It was really for people who didn't have a full set of disks. If it's giving you EP's you didn't have it could still be worth it to trouble shoot, but if you already have them all there was no point in getting it.

+Jossy Smith Right now, I'm feeling like installing my CD's instead because the ultimate collection has been killing me this whole time and the only issue I had with the CD is that it didn't open because of not deleting the cache files

+SheGamerxoHaving a lot of mail boxes and bin recolours (which will always try and come with the file) shows the creator doesn't know about safe lot uploading practices, so I would not install such a lot. A lot should not give you sudden game wide crashing unless it brought a bad piece of cc, but you should find that in the 50/50. I know nothing about Windows 10, except others do play sims on it successfully. I'm on 7 and planning to stay here as long as possible.

+Jossy Smith ok, just checking. I really hope it's not my lighting mod but I've only started having issues since Windows 10 but also I think after installing a lot that came with loads of mailboxes and bins. It's hard to recall really when the crashing started

+SheGamerxoThat shouldn't matter, I have those in my medieval game but not my regular game, can't even recall why but it doesn't seem to affect anything.

I only have the lighting mod and the cas widescreen mod but I've had them for ages....but that can't be it can it? It's just a text file? Btw? Should the scriptorium shortcuts be in my downloads folder after using the automatic install?

+Miranda LaRue yeh just uninstall your sims 3 and all the expansions and reinstall one by one that is what I did when I had that problem  with pets

Either uninstall sims and and the expansion packs or do a clean install of your os

+SheGamerxo uhh... It might be a glitched object. My game used to crash when I had a certain bunkbed that got reset. It is really odd But it might happen. the MTS forums are Also great for asking help. I would maybe suggest doing a 50\50 technique with your mods and see if it works Then.

Ahh ok the equivelant of that would be 'rock' and you'll get in touristy seaside places like portsmouth, brighton and blackpool. It's basically a stick of melted sugar that can have writing around on the inside and it's quite hard, hence the name!

Salt water taffy is a taffy that comes in many different flavors. It was created in Atlantic City, NJ in the late 19th century and now, you can normally find it in most beach gift shops (I found some in Savannah last fall and I have an addiction to it that's not human) and amusement park candy shops. It's mostly sugar, so it's not actually salty. It gets the salt water part from the ocean. lol -Hannah
