@teefah mate av just watched this car on another clip. this is bull shit. I have the same car and them exhausts dont look standard at all. Plus that spolier isn't standard I reckon you have heavily modified this M5 because stock for stock the B5 S would cream it. You must know that?

Der BMW M5 hat einen V10 Hochdrezahlmotor. Der ballert die bis in den roten Begrenzer und hat die volle Leistung. Der V8 ist ein Turbomotor und zieht im oberen Drehzahlbereich nciht mehr so ab wie es der V10 Sauger tut .

m5 doesnt have more power the alpina has 535 not 507 like the m5 its just not as refined plus its an auto

Good afternoon.My car is tested in an real rolling car test facilitis and the computer showed a top speed of 347 KM/H for the B5.The B5 touring has only a top speed of 319km/h because of the weight and shitti air flow.If you surching for an quit super saloon b5 is the perfect car with very low fuel consumtion and insurance.M5 is more suited for an race track.Nevertheless its fantastics cars!

@vitocorleone57 I believe that the B5 is faster at high speed because of the never ending torque of this car. 700nm vs. M5's 520nm and almost same amount of bhp's - pretty much points B5 out as the winner

cool,what about m5,am sure it does over 320kph,btw gustav,is the smg as dct on m3 e92? are they both 7 speeds?about the manual 6 speeds m5,its a shame that ucant turn dsc off :(

@25syndromet mayeb ur right, but also the gearing of the m5 7 speeds i think has advantage on the 6 auto of b5,any way they are both amazing cars, i wish to own one someday :-)

Neverless, it is just for fun, even if they already tested the cars. The mistake the M5 Driver did here was that he started in 2:nd gear, the M5 is a bit faster :)

yeah i would have to agree. personally i dont like the b5 much, the looks arent there and the details arent quite right. it is a good performer though.

this doesn't involve this video really, but what is the top speed of a 1990 bmw 535i with a 5 speed manual? i know the e34 m5 can do around 170 ungoverned, i wasn't sure if the 535i had a governor on it either. thanks. good vid by the way.
