There are a few problems with your argument. 1) You view it as problematic for cops to get to know the streets they'll be patrolling and the residents therein? You say, "Their job is to serve and protect." WHOM?? Is it not the very people of the streets they'll be patrolling?? Then wouldn't it be beneficial for the both the police and the community to gasp get to know each other? 2) "What's next? You want the military to humanity courses [sic] before going to war?" Instead of engaging and serving and protecting the community, some police forces function more like occupying forces among enemy combatants in a foreign land. As a result, the people in the community, the majority of whom are just honest, hard-working (if they can even find work, and yet they still hustle), salt of the earth people just trying to get by. People who share the same basic hopes and aspirations of any other American, or better yet, any other human being. 3) If I were you, I'd rethink self-identifying as a "minority" as if that's something to be proud of, especially if you're going to talk down to your fellow "minorities" as if you are superior. You sound like a person who has internalized oppression and now identifies with oppressors instead of your people "in the hoods" where you supposedly grew up. You all know why this guy was killed? Because he did something wrong no matter what, if any one break the law in any way and after all you try to fight the cops back cuffed or un cuffed, arm or unarmed you will have some kind of problem and you will suffer the consequences of your actions, even death. I've been stopped by police about three times first for speeding I did not arguments. second walking to my bus stop to go to work they asked me a couple things then approached me and told me to get my hands on the front of the police car i did without said any word they searched my pockets and then they let me keep going. And the third time because i was fighting, when cops arrived to the place they asked to put my hands up and I did they cuffed me and arrested me. you see? twice because I did something wrong and one because I didn't but eve tough I followed the instructions all the time. So the fact is, if you didn't do anything wrong do not run away from cops if so let the cops arrest you and do not fight back because if you are guilty or innocent the only one who will tell you so is the judge.

They didn't know Freddie personally, but they had black pride. You see this with white nationalists too. The ones I've chatted with aren't accomplished at all, so they resort to the inventions of other white people and are somehow magically connected to them - hence they claim themselves superior even though they've had nothing to do with the inventions...It's sad. You're right but when you see this kind of protests it's hard to understand them because there are people who never touched the guy who was killed by cops. There's not excuses to do such things like burning buildings down to the ground or destroy police cars or even robbing the business around the town that's crime. But ok I got what you said.

Keep in mind why they're angry.  Sure, some really need to get over it.  It's not easy to get over simple things for some because they were raised by impatient people for instance. Or...other issues. Best thing to do is talk to people with patience. I guess one of the hardest experiences I've had with people was in the classroom with student athletes who felt so entitled to everything. They'd just sit and talk back to the teacher. I eventually got up in front of the class and gave a whole speech on entitlement and the fact they're in school for free and my parents had to pay to listen to them rant? Heck no. Solution is to talk logic into people. Don't feed their hatred. In the end, we're the ones who have the right mind to talk the sense. We don't have to stoop down to their level by taunting them.

Your statement heavily revolves around assumptions and a broad generalization. You just painted all blacks under a single brush. White people (or, pretty much every race) do the very things you listed as well.  You fail to realize that everyone is a byproduct of their environment. If you were raised fatherless, surrounded by people who don't foster good work ethic at school, constantly put down by people such as yourself who automatically assume such things, you would not have the motivation or self-control that you are preaching this very instant.  Totally agree that you can't play the victim game forever. This is the age of the media and there are so many people who do have respect for blacks.
