You cant keep these two animals in the same cage!! Your poor monitor looks thin and dehydrated. if you did really 'keep' them together as you say you did I'm surprised that corn snake never fried!! What's the recommended hotspot for a Corn, 85F with very little humidity! A Savannah need a basking spot of 130-140F!!! With high humidity at 60-80%. The reason why he didn't eat the poor corn before was because he was to lethargic from improper basking, not because he was tired of 'seeing' him!

@HustlaPisback that is a shit excuse, because how and what did you feed the corn snake in the 4 months of it being in there. because if it tried to compete for food it would have failed and probably got eaten and if you fed it outside the enclosure and put it back it would have the scent of mouse or rat on it and the monitor would have eaten it. or you just didnt feed it in which case its purpose was to be food for the monitor. think before you make some shitty excuse nextime.

its not if u fed the snake to the lizard or not, its the princible. you should know never to house them together. and yes i know u feed them mammles, but u seem to forget thats nature and its natural to them. a corn snake and a lizard is not natural. u shouldent be allowed to own reptiles. if ur just going to disrespect both of them and house them intogether. i dont care if this is just once. do ur reserch. its a no no. to both of them its crutly, i think u need help.

How would you think a monitor and a snake would co-exist? I'm surprised they survived together for even more than 5 minutes. Monitors LOVE to eat snakes. In fact, snakes are one of their favorite meals. Still, cool video, and don't listen to the idiots talking shit about what's "cruel". Fuck 'em. But yeah, I do have to admit that expecting a monitor and a snake to co-exist is like asking a crocodile and a wildebeest to be best friends.

To everyone... I never fed the snake to the lizard... they coexisted for 4 months together with no problem... my guess is that the monitor got tired of seeing the snake every morning! or maybe competing for food... but to all that have the hateful comments, i never "Fed" the monitor the corn snake! and why is it such a big deal but when you feed it a mammal i.e a mouse or rat, it's cool???

Also you shouldn't be feeding a Sav on mammals, their diet should only consist of invertebrates, so no its not cool to feed them mammals, they are too fatty and will drastically reduce the quality and span of the monitors life. Do some research.

While I don't think he should have fed it to the Sav. Its an animal, and they have no rights, but we have a responsibility to take care of our animals. Had the snake been smaller of the Sav bigger I would have seen no problem with this. All animals have to eat, something Disney forgets to mention...

Komodos can put up a pretty good fight, with a crazy bite force, along with a venomous and bacteria infected bite, the snakes would win in a fight, in my opinion, but would die from infection up to a week later as long as the komodo gets one decent bite

Incorrect, I care. Inhumane yes, but also because mice are nasty SOBs and will give a deep bite that can become infected and cause death. Reptile to reptile feeding causes transfers of parasites.

@Thecelticdragon1308 savannah monitors are insectivores... they CAN eat and digest rodents and such but in the wild they eat more insects than rodents... please state where you get your facts...
