matlock, B.o.B, Lordz of Brooklyn, and Son Doobie are literally the only hip-hop artists whose music I financially supported in like the last 5 years. This is coming from a huge hip-hop head who used to clear out the cd rack every Tuesday back when CD's was a thing. Let it be known this cat is in the pantheon of rap as far as I'm concerned.

+Mickhai Woodside No. It's the rap the media promotes that's bad. There is always good music being made across all genres, just because everybody listens to shitty rap doesn't mean that's all that exists. You just have to look for it. For example, instead of complaining on this video how bad rap is now, you could have looked at songs this artist has been making recently. What I've found is that finding artists you really like in genres you really like allows you to always have new good music.
