Going to feed a horse carcass to Bonnie & Clyde. It was old & had a severe, non-repairable hoof/ankle injury, so the rancher decided to have it euthanized ...
I am sorry that meds don't work for you either and now your facing surgery.
Life with CD really sucks for us. That was my biggest fear in January when
I was so sick. I felt that my dr was going to want to do surgery and I got
so depressed. If I didn't change my diet, I don't know what the final
outcome would have been. Also, since Humira doesn't really work right now,
I am sure some years down the line I will face the knife. Feel better and
good luck.
Hi Jeffrey, great video! I'm really glad you found that diet works for you.
I follow SCD, this is my second time on it. I was on it from 1991 to 1998
and was in complete remission till 2004. I've just recently return to it
and have achieved remission from a full flare in September 2011. Everyone
needs to find out what works for them, that's the important thing.
Hopefully you are getting much better. And thanks for the video!
Glad to hear you're doing well Pat. I'm not a big fan of SCD but if it
works for people..and you, then I say stick with it. I just don't feel I
could ever have that much commitment with food. Here's to hopefully
achieving what you did...remission.
Very nicely done, Jeffrey!! I appreciate your perspective on what you deal
with having Crohn's and I know my son will relate to this video on many
levels. Your style is very relaxed, direct and honest. Thank you :))
Keep the charity spamming people! D F T B A! This years project is going
well! Keep donating and "Thumbs uping" and watching and doing good for
others !
Ths video is beautiful and your a beautiful person....LOL I'm a dude u had
me tear up. Its just always nice to hear whn someone understands some of
the things your going thru.(not tht I want anyone else sick). Family and
friends try 2 get it ,and i love thm but its not the same. Its hard feel
like ur a man ....whn ur weak and can't protect your family, hard 2 keep a
job going or like u said b out with your girlfriend/friends...(feels like
burden)..but anyway thank you.Wish you love,health&wealth
I'm so glad that you are going to the doctor next Monday! Please let me
know how it goes, I am worried about you! But you are so strong I know you
will be fine :) Believe me, I know it's hard not knowing what's wrong, I
was undiagnosed for 8 years until being diagnosed with Crohns & Colitis.
They WILL get to the bottom of it, but you can't give up!! Stay strong, you
can do this! Good thoughts and prayers coming your way!
I am having severe tightness in my stomach with no matter what I eat. I am
down to two spoons of food twice a day and it is getting so scary. It also
causes my breathing to feel tight when it is happening. No one understands
what I am going through. So I am so thankful for your video. I will be
going to a GI Dr next Monday. I can barely walk I am so drained and weak
with this. I wish I knew what this is.
I love watching you! In fact, I have spread this to my social media, both
for awareness and for identification for my fellows who are also sick ... I
was just watching the part where you talk about not being able to go to a
store alone, in case you get sick while u r there - well, yes, that's true
... but some of us just don't have any other choice: we are alone. And
that's really hard, too!
i have chronic colitis and people are always asking me why im losing weight
or what diet im on because its working so good for me and why dont i ever
eat anymore and I have to explain to them that I would rather feel the pain
of starving then feeling that death feeling after i eat with the hot
flashes the dizziness that tired weak feeling and the nauseas vomiting
urgesss ughhhh its the WORST!!!
I really appreciate you bringing awareness to people who do not understand
what it's like to live with an invisible illness. I have UC and it ruins
every aspect of my life, to relationships, work, exercise, etc. I think you
are a brave girl and I respect you a lot. I hope you are doing well and you
will be in my prayers. I am relating to all of your videos, so thank you
for sharing them! :)
You're very welcome! Your life sounds very similar to how I live mine! It's
really rough a lot of the times, but we can get through it. We just prove
each day how strong we are by getting through it one day at a time. :) I do
have people I can count on, and some great close friends. I hope that your
family starts to understand better.. maybe you can talk to them. *HUGS!
keep fighting! :)
Aww, I know how you feel. You are definitely not alone! People can be harsh
when they don't understand what you are going through, but you are SO
STRONG! I know that you don't want to eat, but you definitely need to make
sure you are getting some sort of nutrients; just make sure you take care
of yourself as best as you can! :) I hope you are feeling okay, keep
fighting!
Aww thank you so much! :) I'm so glad you liked this video! :) I understand
exactly what you are saying about your family and friends. It is hard, but
we have to do the best that we can. Just take one day at a time. No need to
look in the future too far, that just makes stress for us. You can do this.
:) I hope you start feeling better too! Keep fighting! :)
I have RA, AS & Crohn's and totally understand what you are going through.
People say "how can you be sick when you look so well". people make un
informed judgements about you and this video highlights the daily struggles
people with these conditions endure just to survive. Well done to you for
pulling this video documentary together. Pure class
Aw, you are so welcome! I'm so glad that you can relate to them and
hopefully it helps you feel a little better by knowing you are never alone
in these battles we face! I know it's so hard sometimes, but keep fighting!
You are so strong for everything you get through everyday. :) I'll be
praying for you too! *hugs!! hope your day goes well.
I have Rheumatoid arthritis!
That is exactly how people with Rheumatoid arthritis feel. Having pain
every day learning how to deal with horrible pain that will not go away.
Mood swings , depression, anxiety.
Feeling worthless wanting to give up.
Trying not to give up! We need to find a cure.
Good bless you! God is good
Still trying to figure out what the main underlying illness is that is
causing all my other illnesses. But for now I have been diagnosed with a
few stomach conditions plus Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Rheumatoid
Arthritis, Drug-Induced Lupus and possibly Endometriosis. Just a bunch of
autoimmune conditions. :(
I have chronic condition and life is difficult really noone understands the
things i go through. Friend always ask me to go out while i ve told him
many times im too sick to even make a dinner for myself. Its expected of me
to work while i barely make it through the day its just awful
I wanted to tell you that I think you are a beautiful girl and I am truly
impressed with this video. I'm extremely proud of you for stepping up and
saying exactly how it is. I hope it opens some peoples eyes... God bless
hun
Wow thank you so much! :) I'm glad I could put this video together and
spread awareness! I was just diagnosed with RA recently along with Lupus so
I definitely understand what you are going through. Keep fighting!!
YES!!!! Well said. Thanks for being so postive, I do not have IBD I have
Chronic lyme, so just seeing others with illnesses and them being so happy
helps so thanks :) Posting it on Facebook.
Thank you so much. I do not have an upset stomach and I am not constipated.
Just this severe tightness and pressure in my stomach. I can't wait to get
relief. I am so hungry.
congrats on your baby, wow! sooo cute, i have a nephew named Aiden :D, i
also have a new nephew hes 7 and1/2 months, ewww 3rd floor yeah, that
sucks....omg we had the same problem, we had to get rid of our furniture
because we couldnt fit it through the door. aww im so happy for you
guys..congrats again! very handsome family
haha thank you!! That was a tablecloth from last year, I ended up getting
the same thing in a cloth version so it's more heavy duty - glad I kept the
plastic one cause I'm using it as a background till I come up with
something else!
aww thanks so much! Yeah that was the worst with the furniture! We ended up
getting boxed stuff from Walmart because it was all we could fit up the
stairs and it was sooo uncomfortable!
aw thanks! Yeah he always requests the day off when Aiden has an
appointment because he's amazed when they weigh him at how much he's grown
since the last time lol!
