Be well and take care. ps: I wonder if part of your decision to wean your daughter may have been due to nipple sensitivity because of your pregnancy, or it you just felt like it was time and you wanted to get ready for the new baby? My daughter is born just a month after yours and we are still breastfeeding. I have been starting to have little pangs of what if we weren't breastfeeding anymore, in a liberating sense. But I mostly still love it so much.

+Yvette Yasui Thank you so much! There were a few reasons I decided to wean my daughter. My goal was to breastfeed for as long as it felt right for both of us. I really enjoyed our journey but I felt a bit run down and ready to make room for the growing baby. I also noticed that my daughter was eating what I considered a good amount of food and because she has very few food aversions, I felt confident that she was getting adequate nutrition from her diet. I already miss it, but I know that it was the right time for us. Congrats to you for sticking with it for so long. What a beautiful gift for your daughter.
