The sin unto eternal separation from God is rejection of Jesus Christ as
Lord and Savior and then physical death. No one who God has chosen will be
in this group. I gain greater distaste for "me" as I grow in Him. Indeed,
there is nothing "I" could offer up to Him but He in me works His work
daily, and only pray "I" could be more of He who is God The Son who resides
in "me", and "I", alone, am as one filthy rag good for nothing to God.
"For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has
forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be
even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these
things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you
abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ."
@IMSurrenderedtoGod Amen...a wonderful reminder, as I think most if not all
of us can sometimes "rely on ourselves" a bit too easily at times. I

"There is a sin unto death" -there is a final apostasy from GOD. If GOD has
ever pointed out to you in the past the one thing that is wrong with your
life, you are to blame if you did not listen.

All 3 of my sisters attended Southern Nazarene University (Bethany Nazarene
College), and our father was a Graduate of Nazarene Bible College ('76) and
an ordained elder.
We lost Dad last year, and we held his service in a Nazarene Church in
Oklahoma City.
But NONE OF US are Nazarene anymore. My Dad gave his life for the Nazarene
Church and it chewed him up and spit him out. The Church of the Nazarene
used to be a really wonderful, holiness church; but no more. I don't
recognize it, since they scrapped the PRAISE & WORSHIP Hymnal. I miss those
days, but they're over now.
The Emergent Church took over and now we're all going to hell.

+Bill Elliott -we still sing hymns at Colorado Springs Grace church of the Nazarene; Joe Warrington pastor (check out Grace Church Colorado Springs) but we need old fashioned pentecostal praying (until the Holy Ghost falls upon the people -which can take days); so yes sorry that you do not see it; but you do see it overseas all the time in the Church of Nazarene in Africa, Brazil, South Korea-so just keep praying. Forgive the church, but it is the Lords church (not ours)

A poignant explanation for the myriads of false teachers and doctrines.
It's so sad, yet an utterly profound statement speaking to the true nature
of the hearts of man, that even the Living Word can be coined out their
mouths, yet their hearts and minds ignorant of His Person and the Finished

ministries as well...and I also see the danger of it happening to me if I
take my gaze off of Christ but for a moment. It's just more evidence for me
that in me no good thing dwells. If totally left to our own devices, we

Brother Chambers nailed it again! So many organizations (and even YouTube
ministries) were started to preach the gospel and glorify Christ, but as
soon as success came, they forgot their purpose and wandered off into areas
that has absolutely nothing to do with their original goals. Christ MUST be
first in everything that we do.
