that high pitched slideing sound? or what is it called?

+Guitar Guitar That high pitch sound you are referring to is just a "pick rake" from the high E string down. While doing the "pick rake" lightly sit your fret hand index or ring finger over the 4th or 5th fret to sound the natural harmonics. Hope that helps!
