Here is some footage of me test riding my new KTM 200 xcw on some fast and flowy terrain in Kelowna, B.C. The riding area is called Bear Creek. My bikes ...
awesome flow, if that was your first test ride on the two hundred two stoke
a year ago, you must be killing after a summer and winter of adjusting.
Anyways be safe, have fun. :-)
Hey Megan! You're flippin amazing and I love watching your vids - I find
them easy to understand and super helpful so thanks for that! Quick
question: do you or will you be teaching any girl-riders workshops or
clinics?! I think you'd be amazing at that and I know at least 3 girls from
down here (Vancouver) who would be really interested! :D
+Taryn Von Little Braaps Thanks so much for the feebback! I'm so glad to hear that my videos are helpful :). I would absolutely love to teach riding clinics. That is what I'm working towards doing!
Wow great riding!! Me and my wife are coming to Kelowna (From Australia) in
August for a year as we love Canada, and want to spend some time there. We
visited Kelowna last Nov/Dec to check the place out and we liked it a lot.
I have also been checking out OTRA website / facebook etc. I ride a 350
exc-f here and want to get a used (cheaper) bike when we get to Kelowna. I
was just wondering If we arrive in August how much riding could I look to
get in before it gets too cold? I want to get as much in as possible :)
Your vids are getting me amped to get there! Thanks!
+Megan Griffiths Cool, you're right it does make you a better rider when you take on new challenges. Went riding yesterday and tried to focus on standing up more in rough sections and spending more time using the clutch to control power rather then just getting aggressive on the throttle. The search for traction when the terrain is working against you is fun when you get it right. Always learning. Can't wait to get to Kelowna and get setup!
Whoops I tried to reply to your last comment but removed it by accident. But yes that riding area I'm talking about is McNutt in maple ridge. All the trails are super gnarly like that but it's an awesome challenge and makes you a better rider! It's really cool terrain.
Thanks! That's great! I usually ride right into November before the snow gets to be too much. But out here you can ride all year round if you don't mind driving. There is a place only three hours away that has amazing, snow free riding all year long!
the 2 stroke is the bomb .... you will be destroying trails in no time ...
you will never go back once you get it down .... hahahaha ..... 2 stroke
rules.... good ridin megan ... you rock.....i watch all your
videos...pinnnnn itttt
Craigslist- it's from an 80s bus - had to trim it to make it fit.
