+Joe G It certainly has been so far, in fact it has been one of the highlights since I have been here. I did see the CPRail Christmas train go by, but wasn't able to capture it on film. Thanks for stopping by Joe.
Very cool indeed! I remember back in the early 80's a train went by our
house. It had a couple of passenger cars, and like you, we just happened to
see it. When trains go back and forth all day and night you just tune them
out if your busy but that day we were interested in taking a look.
We were amazed and wondered why they were there. Were there people on
board? Where were they going? So many questions. It was the only time we
ever saw that happen.
I never noticed the wind turbines in the background before.
+WallysPlace66 Some others have suggested that it is a track inspection car setup. I can see lots of things from my front door. With the farmer's field directly across the street (probably soy beans this year), then the tracks, the highway and then the airport and finally the wind farm. All within a mile of our home. Thanks for stopping by Wally.
