I figured this would help some of the people new to dart frog keeping, showing what I use to feed mine from the flies to the dendrocare mineral supplement.
I just noticed, you have a TRIO of dart frogs. That's the final price of
the puzzle!!! TRIO, TRIO-ceratops, triceratops. Now guess what the most
recognisable feature of a triceratops is... It's three horns and now guess
what else has three horns, a jacksons chameleon. And finally after many
hours, days of hard work I have completed the puzzle. (And totally not just
checked your Instagram :P)
This is a serious question as I do not have reptiles myself.. Do you have
insect problems in your room occasionally because of the sheer quantity you
put out? Some have to escape right?
+Mike Tytula yeah I know, I had to do so much research on my German Shepherd for my parents to allow me to get one and he is just a dog. But honestly it's worth it because I couldn't ask for a nicer, healthier dog.
+Mike Tytula by the way, I really like Sheldon. I'm thinking about getting a tortoise when I finish my last two years of college. Are they relatively easy to care for compared to your other pets?
Oh so you're going to take my facts and use them as your own because you have nothing to say to me? Is there a barstool up your ass because you're being a real dipshit.
WHY WHY DONT YOU PEOPLE STOP ASKING WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS MANS HAND HE MUST
HAVE HAD A ACCIDENT OF SOME KIND AND WOULD RATHER FOGET IT SO WHY DONT YOU
I dig the way he just kind of smacked that one fly at around 0:12
"fuck you this is my fly"
Cricket Breeding Setup - How to
This shows you everything you are going to need to do if you want to breed crickets. It's pretty simple. I ran out of time at the end so I couldn't show you the tank ...
since your into making videos can you make it less winded. its an
information video not a product commercial and its not video diary either.
u didnt need 3 mins just talking about the substrate esp since ur vid is 8
mins. more information pls and less fluff. your gloves and your flashlight
? really ? i think you just like showing off your gear and hear yourself
talk. if this sounds bitchy and impatient its because i feel like you just
wasted my time.
I was thinking the same thing. I think it seems to happen with every person
making a video between the ages of 10 & 15. BTW I wonder how many cricket
have drowned in that shallow 1/4 inch of water. The other dish contents...
we call that mud.
@Linden387 Thanks! I'm glad it helped, I noticed a lot of people are
curious about cricket breeding. They're easy, I haven't purchased them for
my reptiles in a long time.

Fish food can work, but it does not have all the nutrients that crickets
really need to consume in order to be a healthy food source for your pet.
Specific cricket gut load products are the way to go.
@Feonalilly wel im really not too familiar with turtles but i think it
depends if your turtle will eat dead crickets sometimes nutrients are lost
when crickets are frozen so its up to you
Heat mats actually work very well to keep crickets warm, as long as a good
quality heat mat is used. I've been using heat mats to keep my crickets
warm for over 2 years.
+India BrownUsually trying to climb the glass from time to time is fine, and normal behavior. The disinterest in food that you're witnessing is nothing to worry about, as long as your gecko eats enough. My leopard gecko is super lazy and after eating one or two crickets wills top chasing more and wait for them to come to it LOL.
+AsianBatman it like a year old and is it a sign when they try to climb on the glassbut usually it catches it like the last time I fed it it ate them all it tried tried to eat and it jumped and he stop trying
+India Brown How old is your gecko, and how long have you had him/her?It's possible it has developed an eye problem due to old age/lack of the necessary vitamins, or it could have enigma syndrome.

Great advice!
Miriam is definitely one of those exceptions. She goes crazy with food &
will keep trying to stuff her mouth even if it's already full of crickets.
It's definitely not typical behavior.
Because of this, I've had to space out her feeding session over 30 minutes
with 6-8 crickets. I let her eat one or two at first, and then take a break
until she swallows/licks/rests, and then feed her a couple more, etc. After
the session, sometimes she gets a belly rub which she really loves (while
standing, I never make her lay on her back).
She's doing better lately, down to 15 minute feedings. But some days she
goes back to cramming. I just need to be patient.
I suspect her behavior is due to how she was raised. Her breeder used to
house hatchlings together & add crickets, in one burst - so they all had to
compete to get enough for themselves. However, she could just be the type
of gecko who is very over-eager with hunting.
She does appear to be growing out of it though, thankfully!
+Orangeblossom Gaming Yeah, mine does that too. Whenever I feed too many at once she'll exhibit the neck-twisting behaviour I talked to you about, so now I space out her feedings.
