My EVGA 780 Classified will hit 1280 Mhz, without overclocking the memory. I still get better scores running @ 1254 Mhz, with the memory overclocked by +500 (7 Ghz). If I try to overclock the memory while running @1280 Mhz, the video drivers will crash.

As soon as I touch the mem I get lower scores for some reason but are running at +160Mhz on the core wich is at 1267Mhz on my card.

there might be a fault with your grafics card. but you are probs bottlenecking your 780ti as it is a realy powerfull card and it needs powerful components to drive it. i recomend 8-12 gb ddr3 ram a i5 3570-> or a fx 8350 -> as games tend to benefit more of stronger coes then more cores. and a newer then 5 year old hard drive to get the full 780ti experiance. and sorry for my grammar. im from sweden to.

just cos the temp target is 95 C dosent mean that a card run at those temps. the nvidia 700 cards realy take what you put in as temp target as a considuration.. :P.. they usaly run at 85 -90 C with the stock cooler when maxed out.

+rdor011 You can remove them, but if you were thnking of watercooling any GPU, you'd need a decently sized case to fit a loop of that kind anyways

+Butters Aslong as it has a PCI-Express x16 Bus, as for power supply it really depends on your other components, and then also taking into account the power efficiency curve to then decide you want to cut costs or save money on power and the longevity of your components but a PSU in the region you may use something around the region of 500-550W so a 650W minimum will do you just fine

Man, I used to get these frames with my GTX 750 ti on high. Disable V-Sync via control panel and the game's. Also, go to the ini files and disable there the V-sync option. I had to do that too, after that everything was butter smooth. I can't remember now the path for the ini files, but 5 minutes of research on Google you should figure that out. This game uses hard V-Sync. It means that if you drop to 59 it will instantly lower it to 30 or something. When you start playing it on Ultra you can thank me lol.

+AssassinRaulShadow dude this is not about vram of course vram is important for some settings but i have friends with gtx 970 and after last patch they removed other settings less then 2 gb vram memory only low-medium is available some of them can go high but my friend removed the setting limit and maxed his almost all settings and he is playing perfect dont underestimate the power of gtx 970(2gb)

This card is known for its artifacting, most support website's says you even need to downgrade your gpu voltage to get this fixed, which leads to me to this question: Did you manually downgraded your GPU and Memory Voltage? And for the info, there are even older graphics card on the market for a lower price wich you could overclock beyond 1300mhz.

Yeah it is artifacting and it is big dissapointment. GPU is OK. It's memory  that sucks and I have it underclocked to 6000 MHz and memory voltage to 1550 mV. This setting works for me.
