I think overseas sellers have that packaging. I have the same packaging for my wireless fast charger that I got from my source and I can hear the fan running and it does fast charge my phone. Can you audibly hear the fan in your for sure official one?

+Trevor Smith I can hear it and I opened up both of them just to be sure, very different inside. I assume the fakes are coming from somewhere in Asia, so it makes sense that they replicate their local packaging.

+captainswazzle yes, they really went out of their way to make it. Amazon has become a place to sell fake stuff because they are too big and inexperienced to weed out theses thing. luckily they have an awesome return policy

I should of mentioned i was mostly speaking about Android phones since I phones don't really have fast charging anyway, cause if they had a wireless charger that could charge my Nexus 6p almost as fast as the standard charger, than i would finally buy one

+Tyler “TylerThaTruth” Barron the power brick that came with the iPhone SE was 5v @ 1A. This wireless charging case does 1A as well, so it's not any slower. Not sure if the SE can handle 2A input (I'd assume no), but just out-of-the-box, it's the same.

+Jordan Keyes it's mostly to do with profit margins. apple in the US is feeling the burn because two year contracts are non existent and people don't want to shell out 400+ dollars on a phone.
