HI MELODY just got a CRICUT Explore Air and I think I have a watched every video of yours!!! BUT I have a question I have a 16 X 20 canvas and I want to put a saying on it "Sometimes being a big brother is even better than being a superhero" so my question how do I know what size font to use? How do I measure this so it fits on the canvas. CAN U HELP ??? PLEASE

+Cindy Allen go to canvas on the left, choose basic shape, then in the panels on the right and choose custom for the size of you canvas, you might want to zoom out, and then you can see everything on the canvas how it would look.

+ohio67 Only if they have been linked to your account. They must be linked to your cricut account through Cricut Craft Room or through Design Space or through linking a Gypsy to CCR

hey:) I've been watching a lot of you lately and in about 2 months I'm looking to get the cricut air. I had a question, I understand how to make the monograms but I'm wondering if there's a way to do a pattern with it to fit around a cup or to put on a phone case, if you understand what I'm asking

+Laura Vanrooy oh I was thinking that ios what you meant but wasn't sure, but I do have a video on how to do that, and soon there will be an update and the click of a few buttons you can add patterns to any image, its real easy, I have been doing it while beta testing.

+Laura Vanrooy if I understand you correctly, there are some people who made a template to put on cups, but I have never had a problem placing it on a cup, Design Space has templates to size things for the phone case and hundreds more things.

This is all new to me, I used to have the old cricut years ago, and I still have the paperdoll cartridge, is this cricut able to make paperdolls, or is this just for making cards! You were so helpful in the video THANK YOU

+tamberly case You can make so much more than cards! You can make so much more than the the older Cricuts, it cuts 60 different materials including leather, vaneer and fabric, vellum, acetate, stencil material, the possibuilities are endless with this machine. You can download design space and check it out before you buy the macine, if your paper dolls cartridge is linked to your account it will be there for you to use free, along with lots of free images.

Can you do a tutorial on how to split a image with the new cricut air...please???? I've watched many videos on how to do it but with previous machines. I can't even get the split option highlighted to even use it.

+Melanie Jams It'd the same with all the Explore machines, they all use Design space, I have a few videos on how to do this, here is the newest one. Okay. I Just haber seen anyone putting a cartridge on it, so I was confused. Can I ask you one more question.. ☺️ For beginners in cutting machines (I've always done everything by hand or small tools) is it hard to use or learn how to use?

I'm thinking about purchasing one of this babies, I have never used anything like it. So, I'm confused as to where the cartridges go on this one, the explore air. I see the choice of purchasing cartridges or just uploading it. Let's say that for some unknown reason I want the cartridge, where does it go?
